I understand the user account US MOINUDDIN has been blocked by GB Fan providing reasons of Spam/Advertising-only account. I realised topics posted on my page related to personal blogs, hence would like to assure you that this will not repeat again and would like to make more public contribution and enhance wikipedia knowledgebase. I apologise for delayed response. I am an author and would like to contribute on wikipedia about inspiration, leadership, great thoughts, etc., However, as said earlier, I will not draw any attention towards my own blogs and promotional websites. Since, these topics are written in my book published for wider community, respective citations (references) along with the publication will be provided. Please consider my request for unblock.

User:Girish H A is my friend and he is trying to set up my account on wikipedia, as I am not a computer savvy. As assured earlier, I will not be promoting my book. I will contribute on topics like leadership, inspiration, great thoughts, etc., but definitely providing respective published citations by authors. Please consider my request for unblock

You seem to be unaware that Wikipedia is a project to build an encyclopedia. Over the entire 15 months or so you have had this account, not a single one of your edits contributed to the encyclopedia. Every single edit in both your deleted and existing contribution history is self-promotional. You have used Wikipedia for nothing more than maintaining a personal web space. Wikipedia is not a hosting provider for personal web pages. You say in one of your response above "Since, these topics are written in my book published for wider community, respective citations (references) along with the publication will be provided" — in other words, you intend to cite your own book in spite of the clear conflict of interest you have. I am sorry, but given the time you have been on this project, and the fact that you have never contributed to it except to make numerous promotional edits, plus your stated intent to continue promoting yourself through refspamming, I am not filled with confidence that you understand what it means to be a contributor here. ~Amatulić (talk) 22:54, 7 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
