Removal of my addition to my Wikipedia page
I received a note from you that you had removed something I had posted to my entry on Wikipedia since it didn't have reference a source. Since the post/addition I made was months ago and your message didn't cite what you deleted, I'm not sure what you removed. Can you send me what you removed so I may provide a source? Glenn S. - You can see my changes here. The main reason I reverted your edit is because you removed the
{{Reflist}}
template from the page, which caused a citation error. — JJJ (say hello) 21:25, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

Professional Review
Compared to other reviews which have secured place here, Teluguone.com has more number of viewers and we are an established movie website. Hello TheJJJunk, This user prefers not to hide behind anything other than his own name. My edits to the Stilton cheese article are entirely factual according to my extensive research, some of which can be seen at www.originalstiltoncheese.com As a result of this, the UK's agriculture department, Defra, are about to launch a National Public Consultation to determine whether Stilton cheese should be allowed to be made in Stilton. This is the only PDO product in the whole of the European Union which cannot be made in the place that it is named after. You may wish to refer to the numerous press reports about this story -The Wall Street Journal, The Times, The Telegraph etc. If wikipedia is, as it says, about factual comment, then show me the evidence that proves my edits incorrect. It is the totally unsubstantiated claims about Stilton cheese originating in Leicestershire that should be examined as they have no basis in fact. Perhaps you could relay this to "The Red Pen of Doom" et al.
Regards, Richard Landy

Sponsor
Hi there -
I'm looking for a sponsor on here to submit an article about John Watts from the band Fischer-Z - the original article about him was deleted for a supposed copyright issue (even though John is Fischer Z) but I can't enter the article as I have a COI. Would you (or anyone you know) be interested in perhaps helping with this, as I'm rather at a loss as to how to go about this!
Thanks 74music (talk) 13:12, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- Hello. The first thing I would do is contact an editor that also knows about John Watts or previously edited the article that was deleted, if it's possible to find one. How do you have a COI? — JJJ (say hello) 22:52, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- Hi - I did contact the editor who did the delete - he told me to find a sponsor! I'm a little lost around these parts as I'm not here to become a Wiki editor - sadly I don't really have the time! I manage bands for a living, and have begun helping John out just prior to his undertaking a major world tour called World Go Round, of music, poetry and theatre - hence the COI..... 74music (talk) 00:22, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
- Alright, if you wish, you can create the article here: User:TheJJJunk/John Watts, including reliable sources as references, and I will look over it. If it looks alright, I can move the article to the article namespace. — JJJ (say hello) 03:37, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

- Hi - so sorry this has taken so long, but I've put some content on that page now - I'm sure there's a million things I've likely done wrong, but if you could let me know how it needs to change to become an accepted page I will make whatever adjustments are necessary??? Many thanks! 74music (talk) 14:44, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
- It's a first pass! 74music (talk) 14:46, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
- I've corrected the layout and format of the article, and added some wikilinks to the lead section. You should add more relevant links to other articles throughout the article. Also, you have provided a list of references, but no citations or footnotes. All information should have a citation supporting it. If you can't get the syntax correct, I can fix it after you try to add the citations using
<ref></ref>
tags. Make sure that things like 'successful', 'big success', 'positive reviews', or anything that could be arguable has a direct citation supporting it, preferably from a source other than his own website. Overall, it looks good for a first draft! — JJJ (say hello) 15:25, 9 April 2013 (UTC)- Fantastic - I'll get on to that. Thank you SO much for your help on this - it's massively appreciated. 74music (talk) 15:44, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

Alright, I have corrected some errors, added more links, and added an infobox, which needs to be filled in as best as possible. I have also tagged some paragraphs that don't have any citations with a citation needed tag. If it's possible, try to find a citation that supports the text. You can use the same source more than once. — JJJ (say hello) 18:17, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hi - I've made some of those citation adjustments now - re the infobox, I don't seem to be able to find where I can actually edit that?? I could give you the required info and a link to a pic? Or if you can point me in the right direction? 74music (talk) 13:41, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- The infobox is located at the top of the wikitext when you are editing the article (can be found here). All you have to do is add the info after the

on each line. As for an image, you must first upload the image to Wikipedia. Make sure that it has a valid copyright. — JJJ (say hello) 15:52, 10 April 2013 (UTC)- Okay, I *think* we're pretty much there!!?? 74music (talk) 10:48, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- Pretty much the only thing you have left is to italicize the album names. You could also consider putting in a 'discography' section as is done in other articles, but it isn't required. The article is really coming together! — JJJ (say hello) 16:05, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- Okay - titles are italicised - are we able to go for it now! I probably will add discography at a later date if possible, but John is currently on tour and want to make sure I get that absolutely correct so will speak to him when he gets back - if we can 'go live' with it now that would be fantastic! Thanks so much for holding my hand through this process - would have been completely lost otherwise! 74music (talk) 11:03, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- I have moved the page to the article space! John Watts (singer). Good job! 'John Watts' is a disambiguation page, so I added (singer) behind the title. If you wish to add a different suffix to the name, go ahead! Very well done! — JJJ (say hello) 13:38, 12 April 2013 (UTC)

Hello
Yes I'm also new and can't find any of the Q&As answering my problem. I want to reference properly (every paragraph), but it leaves an unsightly mess at the bottom as all the references are the same. You edited my changes to the Interest rate caps article. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by WyeatesODI (talk • contribs) 16:37, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
- When adding references with the same name, you can use the
name
parameter to specify the same reference more than once. For example, if you have<ref name="My Reference">My Reference Information</ref>
you can use the same reference later in the article simply by using<ref name="My Reference"/>
there. More information can be found at WP:REFNAME. Also, I have cleaned up the references on the articles you edited the best I could. Hope this helps. — JJJ (say hello)
PROD at Mathing
I saw you reverted the removal of the PROD tag. Remember that anyone can contest a PROD, giving a reason or otherwise, logged in or not, etc. But I do agree that it should be deleted, so AFD is the correct venue now. I know it makes no sense that there's no CSD criteria for things like these, and that it's so easy to contest a PROD, but that's how it is. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 23:55, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
- Oops! You are completely right. I actually reverted the page to fix the citation error and didn't even notice the PROD! — JJJ (say hello) 13:15, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
- Well no biggie, since I just turned it into a redirect anyway :) §FreeRangeFrogcroak 20:08, 29 March 2013 (UTC)

X-cite by Alghanim Electronics
Hello TheJJJunk, I just came across the update that you have added reflist to this article here X-cite by Alghanim Electronics. I would like to know your opinion if I have made a mistake by tagging the article for speedy deletion with respect to the criteria CSD A7 and G11 ? Please let me know if I was wrong. Thank you Ghorpaapi (talk) 14:00, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
- I think that you were right to tag the article. It establishes minor notability with the 'Awards' section, but beyond that, it only promotes itself. At this point, there is no indication of why it is truly notable. Determining which articles should be speedily-deleted for promotion/notability isn't always clear-cut. — JJJ (say hello) 14:09, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
- Of course! I totally agree with you and I am learning to use Twinkle at the moment and hence just to be sure that I used it correctly I asked for your opinion. Thank you Ghorpaapi (talk) 14:16, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
