[edit]
Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.

Request reason:

Hi cullen, I work for the Townswomen's guild and have never used wikipedia for advertising. We have a new chairwoman and would like to remove some incorrect information on your page. Thank you my work email is sara@the-tg.com. Tghq (talk) 11:53 pm, 25 November 2024, Monday (13 days ago) (UTC+8)

Decline reason:

  1. Your username is a concern as we don't allow role accounts on English Wikipedia. See WP:Username policy.
  2. Despite the prompting questions asked below, you have not responded to them.

Therefore the concerns that the blocking admin had weren't addressed. – robertsky (talk) 13:31, 8 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Your initial statement should replace the words "your reason here", I've fixed this for you. You addressed this to Cullen328, but unblock requests are to ask for a third party to review the matter. Would you like to first negotiate with Cullen328, or have a third party(me) look at it? 331dot (talk) 19:45, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, Tghq! Thank you for sharing that information with us. As someone who works at Townswomen's Guild, it is highly recommended that you do not edit the page (see our page on conflicts of interests). With that said, can you respond to the following:

  1. Do you understand why you were blocked, and why the behaviour may be considered unacceptable on Wikipedia?
  2. Aside from updating the Townswomen's Guild article, how would you contribute to Wikipedia if you were unblocked?

Thank you! Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 04:22, 30 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
