Thanks :)

I didn't know I have much of a reputation :)

Anyway, regarding Polish sources - these days machine translation is pretty good and easy, as long as the source is available outside of Google book snippets. Webpages can be translated with one click, or even set up to be auto-translated given conditions like language. Documents can be translated by Google Translation (documents tab, requires pdfs) or by other tools like ChatGPT. The main problem I run into these days is that some stuff, particularly Polish, is not digitized, even in shadow libraries (which cover almost all English works, at least). But yeah, recently I've been working on Polish literature topics, and I often need help from Wikipedians in Poland in the form of asking them to go to a library and scan some pages for me... (those could be translated too these days without too much trouble, if needed) - and here it helps I am fluent in Polish so I can at least locate most sources I need through Google Book snippets. Right. Access was the primary issue. But I know your name and I trust that you are very familiar with policies on copyright so I can assume the odds of you plagiarizing or closely paraphrasing a source are very slim.--v/r - TP 13:36, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
