Suavv Magazine is a free bi-monthly online magazine published by the DMLJ Publishing. The magazine is currently on its 15th Issue. Brothers D. Michael Letterlough Jr., and J. Rashod Davenport are its owners and publishers.

History

Suavv Magazine was created in August 2005 with a launch issue published online by the end of September 2005. Suavv has reached audiences across the entire United States and into 32 foreign countries. [citation needed] The magazine reached 142,415 unique site visitors within the first year. [citation needed] At first the magazine primarily focused on the market in Northeast region of the America. Since then, the magazine has seen an increase in the amount of visitors online.[citation needed]

Target audience

Suavv Magazine is aimed at affluent African-Americans. Suavv Magazine also features interviews with some of the America’s most famous African-Americans. Its contents include music, television, literature, fashion, politics, sports, relationships and health, skincare, wealth and finance, and more.

Publication

Sauvv is published 6 times per year online. During the test runs, online visits soared 300% [citation needed] and the magazine was profiled on 5 radio shows two in Philadelphia one on Washington DC, one in Maryland and one in Florida as well as newsletters, websites, and blogs. Suavv Magazine landed a weekly spot on the radio show based in Maryland entitled The Black Authors Network through EDC Creations Inc.[citation needed]

Since its launch, Suavv has approached very controversial topics such as being inside the KKK, The problems within Hip-Hop, Rape, and The Explosive N Word. Every issue features a famous celebrity on the cover, with whom an in-depth interview is conducted in the magazine. Below is a list of cover stars to date:
