James Webb image of the Carina Nebula

[edit]

Hi, Regarding Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/James Webb image of the Carina Nebula, File:NASA’s Webb Reveals Cosmic Cliffs, Glittering Landscape of Star Birth.png should be replaced by File:NASA’s Webb Reveals Cosmic Cliffs, Glittering Landscape of Star Birth.jpg. Regards, Yann (talk) 17:59, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I see that you reverted TheFreeWorld's change to the FPC nomination. For all purposes on Wikipedia, the JPEG is of the same quality as the PNG, and works much better. It is still good to have the PNG for archive and further editing through. Regards, Yann (talk) 19:34, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
