Auburn LSU rivalry

Wikipedia articles must be written from a neutral point of view and be based on reliable sources. Original research is not allowed, nor are external links to sites containing content that represents a copyright violation (i.e. network broadcast content on YouTube). The AU-LSU rivalry page was clearly originally written from an LSU point of view and remains subtly so, but your edits regarding the 2006 are blatantly making an argument. I appreciate your information on using YouTube/external links. As a trained journalist, I disagree that I was being blatantly anything. That game holds significant controversy... perhaps more from the perspective of an LSU fan, though the title is Auburn LSU rivalry. I was attempting to explain, in as much objective detail as possible, what that controversy entailed. How else does one explain a controversy. At no point did I allege that one point was superior to the other. Russ

Do I need to show how MAS Reynolds is the grand-daughter of Lt-Gen Charles Reynolds thru Charles William Reynolds, and then show how Lt-Gen Charles Reynolds is married to Mary Hunter (London Metropolitan Archives, Saint Marylebone, Register of marriages, P89/MRY1, Item 182), the first daughter of Sir. John Hunter? I've done that for the family tree.

Hi - You need to explain in the main text any notable relatives that Francis Mitchell had and why they were notable. Major Douglas Reynolds VC would be regarded as notable. So please explain the relationship between Francis Mitchell and Douglas Reynolds and then cite the relationship. Obviously it needs to be a reasonable close relationship. Thanks. Got it. Yes, both are intertwined British military families to this day. As are the Hydes, but that's going back even further. For example, I am Russell Francis Reynolds Mitchell. The Admiral's wife's maiden name was... Russell. Douglas Reynolds was my great-grandfather's (the Admiral) friend and playmate (and cousin) growing up. Douglas's father was Lt. Col Henry Charles Reynolds, whose first cousin was Mary Arabella Susan Reynolds, the Admiral's mother. Douglas and Francis wrote to each other many times during the war, and Francis was with him when King George V presented him his VC.

The Admiral lost both Douglas and his brother, Maj. Charles Johnstone Mitchell, to WWI. He also lost his youngest son (Lieut-Commander David Reynolds Mitchell) at the very end of WWII.

Yes. That's right. There is more space in the main text for you to explain the relationship. I suggest you include something along the lines of "Mitchell was a cousin of Douglas Reynolds VC."
