You are now a Reviewer
[edit]Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Karanacs (talk) 17:16, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
- Um, thanks. I don't agree with the flagged revision system, but thanks anyway. Reyk YO! 01:06, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of 1992 Coors Light's Greatest Hits
[edit]I don't know if the page is deleted yet, but I understand your concern on the proposed deletion. However there are some things you should bring to your attention regarding the topic. First, you can't have references because the video is so old that nobody knows where it came from. Second, it's not a music video - it's a highlight reel of the 1992 season set to music. If you would like to help expand the page, I am willing to make a copy for you onto DVD to view and have it shipped or something (it doesn't have a copyright listed, so it would be legal). I didn't know exactly how to explain it, but it was a significant step forward for the [then] MILL. Thank you for your expressed concern regarding this page, it is greatly appreciated. Please look for me if there are any further questions, comments, or concerns. --Dallezam (talk) 02:40, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
- That was about 18 months ago and I have to admit I don't remember it at all. If you think you can write an article that satisfies our requirements on verifiablity and notability you can go ahead and do it. Reyk YO! 04:27, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
I hadn't been on Wikipedia much since then and hadn't noticed but I finally understood how to use the sandbox properly, sorry if there was any miscommunication on the initial intention. But thanks for everything! --Dallezam (talk) 21:14, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- No problemo. Reyk YO! 23:11, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

List of fictional characters who can X
[edit]Just mass list the things. I'll help if you're not familiar with the mass-nomination process. --erachima talk 05:27, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
- Is there a mass-listing procedure for prods? Reyk YO! 05:30, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
- Prods? No. AfD? Yes. Mass prodding is generally just a waste of time and this frankly deserves a real discussion. I'm generally against mass AfDs due to trainwreck concerns, but in this case you've already done some test cases so we might as well just get the rest out of the way at once.
In fact, never mind, I'll nominate them myself. --erachima talk 05:34, 17 July 2010 (UTC) - Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lists of fictional characters by superhuman feature or ability. Enjoy. --erachima talk 06:10, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
Comment on Lindsey Cardinale deletion review
[edit]Thank you for your comment in the deletion review because it made me re-read my original statement to Cirt and realized I made an incorrect statement not because I actually believed that none of the delete arguments based their votes on WP:GNG, but that I changed the way I was going to write the sentence and I did not copyedit it before posting to verify that it said what I wanted it to say. I have since struck out that part out hoping to make what I believe clearer. Aspects (talk) 04:18, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

Articles for deletion nomination of Ranga Ediriwickrama
[edit]I have nominated Ranga Ediriwickrama, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ranga Ediriwickrama. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Hello. In February you added a citation to a book from the "Webster's Quotations" series published by Icon Group International to this article. Unfortunately, Icon Group International is not a reliable source - their books are computer-generated, with most of the text copied from Wikipedia (most entries have [WP] by them to indicate this, see e.g. [1]). I'm removing a lot of similar references as they are circular references; many other editors have also been deceived by these sources. Another publisher that reuses Wikipedia articles is Alphascript Publishing. Fences&Windows 23:38, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Ruhil amani
[edit]A tag has been placed on Ruhil amani requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Ranjithsutari (talk) 16:26, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- I have no real interest in this page; I only moved it to correct the capitalisation of the person's surname. Reyk YO! 19:28, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- On closer examination, I don't really think it meets A7 so I took it to AfD instead. Reyk YO! 19:39, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
