- If you're wondering how on earth QF 12 pounder 12 cwt naval gun got in there, I would guess it's because some of our edits are to the same articles, so SuggestBot assumed you might be interested in warship armaments too :) --Demiurge1000 (talk) 16:13, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
BR symbol
Hi,
I see you have been adding an image of the former BR "double arrows" to various articles, such as Aylesford railway station. However, clicking on the image directs to Transport in London which of course, is not particularly relavent. Please can you change this and ensure it directs to something more globally relevent. Although the symbol is generally still in use, I'm not sure what it now officially represents, as it is not used by Network Rail or any of the TOCs.
Regards, Lynbarn (talk) 15:19, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
- It means National Rail, see this doc page 4. --Redrose64 (talk) 15:41, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
- Have changed it on the infobox so that it is National Rail, instead of London. I forgot about the linking when I put it up. Rcsprinter (talk) 16:17, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
- Brilliant! Thanks, and for the doc link too. Regards, Lynbarn (talk) 17:45, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
Igloo
Hey Rcsprinter123. Careful with Igloo. Remember you should only be reverting definite vandalism with it - [1]. Just hoping to nip this in the bud ;) WormTT · (talk) 19:33, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
Graduation
Hi Rcsprinter123. I've been watching you over the past few weeks and I think you're actually about ready for this. What, I hear you ask? Well this big fluffy graduation certificate. The one that caught your eye before you read this text. Oh, and it's not fluffy - I just wanted to know if you'd read this.

Rcsprinter123, you've made fantastic progress since we started working together. You've still got a way to go, but I think that I've taught you all I can and so you can consider yourself graduated from my mentee status. You're always welcome to come back to me to discuss anything, but for now - Congratulations! WormTT · (talk) 19:46, 29 July 2011 (UTC) |
So well done! I do think you should watch yourself, you work very quickly and are quite prone to making mistakes. If you can keep them under control, you'll do very well. Remember that using automated tools mean you are more likely to make mistakes, not less! Good luck for the future, and let me know if I can do anything. WormTT · (talk) 19:46, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- Well, thanks Worm! I'm actually leaving soon for about three weeks, but then I'll be back and ready and raring to go with AWB, Twinkle and Igloo at my command. Rcsprinter (talk) 20:20, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
Automatic reversion
Just a note to say your bot reverted an edit of mine as suspected vandalism; perhaps it responds to any text deletion in a quotation? The page was Shirley, New Zealand; I have now put my proposed edit on the associated discussion page. Basically my edit harmonises two currently unrelated explanations for the origin of the suburb name, so we need to remove the speculation (by an unnamed source) about where the name 'Shirley' comes from; it is now clear. Will have another go at editing the page later. JulianHeyes (talk) 19:59, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
Template check request
I saw the note that CAT:PER was backlogged, so I'm trying to help out, but template work is new to me. The infobox book series one looks straightforward, as it appears the sandbox has exactly what is needed (unlike the last one I worked on) but I'll still like you to check to make sure I didn't break anything.--SPhilbrickT 15:36, 30 July 2011 (UTC)

Maybe, but how do we know? I reverted the change and left a uw-unsourced1 tag on the talk page of the editor who made the change. What source do you have for 1979? --Hammersoft (talk) 20:42, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
- I happen to be on Twitter at the moment talking to Ian Cook and told him about the page; what a coincidence would it be if somebody with the username of his company came and edited a year right then? Rcsprinter (talk) 20:44, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) His page on myartspace (already cited in the article) gives 28 April 1983 as his DOB, so we should probably go with that. But that would seem to cast some doubt on the unsourced statement that he studied at Langley Secondary School from 1990-1999, which wouldn't fit with his new age. RCS, where did that info come from? Alzarian16 (talk) 20:48, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
- @Rsc; the problem is verifiability. That's why I was looking for a source (thanks Alzarian). --Hammersoft (talk) 20:49, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
- There is a source, its [1]. LinkedIn. And would anyone like to check its DYK submission? Rcsprinter (talk) 20:52, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
AfD closes
