Featured list 13 January
[edit]I think that the bolded text in Wikipedia:Today's featured list/January 13, 2025 you introduced is confusing. The counts are correct and can be retrieved from the list, but it is not immediately clear why the men and women count is not the same. Also the counts are not in the list article and in my opinion they are not really meaningful and shouldn't be added to the list article. More meaningful is the number of editions, but I'm not sure how to add this to the summary or bolded text. – Editør (talk) 19:36, 12 January 2025 (UTC)
- I find it strange that you ignore my comment, yet rewrite the lead of the article. – Editør (talk) 00:53, 13 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Editør: Your reply was posted while I was drafting this comment. I've added the counts you mentioned to the article lead, since those are useful pieces of information to have. The number of editions is not as relevant here, since the article is specifically about "winners of the Amsterdam Marathon", and I believe that it is useful to have at a glance the number of people covered by the scope of the list. This isn't dissimilar to other featured lists in which some winners may appear more than once. Regarding the TFL: unfortunately I can no longer edit the blurb as I don't have admin privileges, but you can always post a report at WP:ERRORS. — RAVENPVFF · talk · 01:00, 13 January 2025 (UTC)
