Your contributed article, Knowledge Management Body of Knowledge
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Knowledge Management Body of Knowledge. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Knowledge Management. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Knowledge Management – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Gronk Oz (talk) 14:15, 2 April 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.
A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.
You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
- Adding
{{unblock-un|your new username here}}
on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page. - At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
- Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
- Adding
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Peridon (talk) 22:12, 18 February 2016 (UTC)Notes
[edit]I'm sorry to have to have blocked this account, but we have a rule (see WP:USERNAME) against using a name that appears to represent an organisation. This is a soft block, so you can create a new account or choose to rename this one by using the instructions on the template above. As to your defence of your deleted article, I'm afraid that that should not be in article space. We have a policy about not having two articles on one subject, and the existing one should be your port of call. I advise using the talk page article of that article to explain why you think another article is needed, or what should be done to improve the existing one. In academic circles, any number of authors may produce separate papers, but as Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, we only want one per subject - exception being where a content fork is required to save the article becoming totally unwieldy. I would advise against you using PKS as a source yourself - this falls under conflict of interest (WP:COI). You can suggest it on a talk page, however. We do occasionally get problems when people accustomed to academic referencing come up against Wikipedia referencing - either may be the better way, but ours is what the community has evolved by consensus over a number of years, and on the whole it seems to work for our purpose, and method of operation. I think you will find people willing to listen and consider, but I would point out that it's not me you have to convince. I stay out of content disputes as much as possible. I leave that to the people who know more about specialised matters. (I regard myself as a specialist Jack of most trades, and not as an expert in any.) Peridon (talk) 22:36, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
