[edit]Hello OswaldoNicolas. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:OswaldoNicolas. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=OswaldoNicolas|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. S0091 (talk) 00:47, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hi OswaldoNicolas, I am responding to the message you left me here rather than on my talk page to keep the conversation in one place. The reason for the paid editing notice is that you currently have three drafts about Crofick: Draft:Crofick, Draft:Guillermo Miguel Santos, the president of Croflick and Draft:Team From Music, a record company owned by Croflick. It is unusual for an editor to have multiple drafts regrading the same subject, especially a new editor. Often we find new editors do not know/understand the policies, etc. However, you state you are aware and have no affiliation with Croflick. Also to answer your question about the issue with Draft:Crofick, the sources to not show it meets Wikipedia's notability criteria. S0091 (talk) 16:43, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
- @S0091ok I understand I'm new to Wikipedia in English, I've been on Wikipedia in Spanish for a long time, I understand that it's strange to have three drafts from the same company but since when entering the data in Wikidata I had to create the drafts, I also had thought to create the one for Juan De Dios Pantoja or other very important celebrities in the middle,
- In this regard, Crofick's problem is the references, that of Team From Music if it is accepted or not?, to see whether to erase those drafts or what to do about it.
- So so that the conversation stays in one place, I answer you here?
- All the best. OswaldoNicolas (talk) 18:09, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, lets leave it here. Since the paid notice asks for a response its best to have that response here so other editors can see you did respond, etc. Team From Music suffers the same issue. Each Wikipedia language has its own policies and guidelines so what may be notable for the Spanish version may not be notable here, or vice versa. Although, the English version tends to be much stricter than others. Please read the notability guidelines for organizations and the notability guidelines for biographies. You are welcome to improve and resubmit the drafts if there are appropriate sources available but if not, then you can let them be and they will deleted in 6 months as an abandoned draft or you can place {{Db-g7}} at the top and they will be deleted shortly. Also, the Teahouse is a great place to go anytime you have questions or need help. Thanks for the discussion! S0091 (talk) 18:34, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
- @S0091 Ok I understand thank you very much for the comment.
- A greeting. OswaldoNicolas (talk) 19:41, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
- You have been banned from eswiki due to sockpuppetry. I have made a petition on Commons to ban you as well, which may lead to a global block. I suggest you and your team from Crofick to cease the campaign to promote your work on Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects, that is not the scope of the projects, you can always make use of social media, this is not one of them.
