Welcome
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. To find out how to make useful contributions, take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means, and on Notability (web) for more detail. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are likely to be deleted. Follow the links below to learn more:
- To find out more about creating articles, read the Introduction and the guide to creating Your first article.
- You should not write articles about yourself, your band, your web-site or your best friend - that's a conflict of interest.
- Wikipedia is not an advertising service. Before writing about your own business, read Business' FAQ.
- For experiments, please use the sandbox.

Articles for deletion nomination of Quark : Innovation Festival
[edit]I have nominated Quark : Innovation Festival, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Quark : Innovation Festival. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Tad Lincoln (talk) 22:58, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
- The page has been added to fill in the history of QUARK, the innovation festival of BITS Goa. It is mentioned as a section on the BITS Goa page, but an elaboration to its history is essentially required to acknowledge the kinds of lectures given and guests who visited the festival; which if done on the BITS Goa page will be a digression there. Though it requires more entries, which can be built over time only by more contributors; hence i'd vote for a Keep
