HAPPY NEW YEAR The page created by you is under Greek ultranationalists attack. Could you please correct the name of "liberation of İzmir" and lock the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.209.32.73 (talk) 21:23, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Anatolian Seljuks family tree

[edit]

Hi. I see that you have been involved in an edit war with an IP over this family tree. Why don't you submit a request at WP:RFP? The admins should be able to protect the page for you to correct the information. Keivan.fTalk 21:03, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Image change

[edit]

Why did you change the image? You put an old picture in. The Chruch is one of the most visible and oldest buildings in the district, why did that picture bother you? The Mersinli (talk) 13:40, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you search the history of the church image in Commons, you can see that the image has been loaded by me. How can the image bother me? I uploaded it to be used in WP. But it is not a typical image of Akdeniz district. When used in the sidebox, the image should be more representative. So I changed it . But the church image can still be used elsewhere in the article. Cheers. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 07:23, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Saltukids

[edit]

Their title after Ebul Kasim Saltuk Bey was not Bey it was Sultan/Melik Sythid (talk) 15:30, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Here is a Turkish source https://www.hurriyet.com.tr/seyahat/kars-kalesi-nerede-kars-kalesi-tarihi-ozellikleri-ve-hakkinda-bilgi-41513551

another one https://www.castles.nl/kars-castle

They were descended of the Caliph Ali ibn Abu Talib through Imam Muhammad Baqir one of the Saltukid Sultanates descendedents are Sari Saltuk they are of Alevi not sunni here is info about sari saltuk and his family tree http://isamveri.org/pdfdrg/D01093/2005_34/2005_34_SALTIKV.pdf — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sythid (talkcontribs) 15:38, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

According to Islam Ansiklopedisi their title was bey. [1] The title Sultan was used only by the Seljuks. On the other hand I found no info about a possible connection between Saltukids and Sarı Saltuk. Sarı Saltuk was a follower of Kaykaus II and he lived in Dobruja. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 10:32, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No. 22 Is Sari Saltuk You can also see how they descend from the Caliph Ali ibn Abu Talib

And on many different sites in turkish sources it states they ruled with the title of Malik (King) and Sultan , if you search up who built the Kars Castle it was by Firuz Akay who was the vizier of Saltuk Sultan Melik Izzeddin Saltuk it even says it in the sign outside the castle his Title is King/Sultan

Why would a beylik have vassals as the Kars Emirate was a vassal of the Saltukids i dont think a beylik commands more authority to hold vassals Also Mama Hatun was known as “Melike” Mama Hatun and Melike means Queen.

Unless Bey does not mean prince and means King as the speech that edebali said to Otman Ghazi (Osman) was “ O my son , Now you are King “ Which in turkish is “ Ey Ogul , Beysin”

According to Georgian Sources aswell The ancestors of Sultan/Melik Izzeddin Saltuks were also belonging to the Oghuz Rulers and Seljuks

If you think i am lying or toying around i advise you research thoroughly into Turkish sources not a english persons perspective of it like many others do on wiki (the website isn’t even reliable hahah)

Nedim, I suspect this section of Ibrahim is written using some rather unreliable sources. Would you mind taking a look?

Thanks. --Kansas Bear (talk) 20:39, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I haven't check the sources. But his obsession with fat women is well known. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 13:58, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A small query

[edit]

Greetings,

I was just browsing article Women in Turkey. The article seems to have links to articles in Arabic, Persian, French and Italian but there is no link to any Turkish language Wikipedia article. Why that should be so? whether there is no article in Turkish language Wikipedia devoted to Women in Turkey or article is there but not connected so far?

May be you are aware, I asked you this question since you seem to have edited article Women in Turkey previously.

Thanks and warm regards
