Speedy deletion nomination of Joe London
[edit]Hello MegaJoeQ,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Joe London for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Itsalleasy (talk) 17:11, 21 May 2015 (UTC)
The article Joe London has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Aside from this interview, I found no coverage primarily about this person. He gets mentioned in passing for his various writing credits, and even the at-least-one Grammy nomination, but those are only passing mentions so I don't think it rises to a substantial enough level.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
