WP Disaster management doesn't update

Wikipedia:WikiProject Disaster management assessment table does not automatically update, and I could not get the manual update to work, either. The manual update will appear to run, but the assessment table and associated WP1 pages will not change. To be clear, I am certain that assessments and importance with this WP tag have been entered, but those changes are not reflected in the system. Thank you in advance. The tables are not being updated

It's not just WikiProject Disaster management (per prev thread) – none of the tables have updated since 00:00, 5 August 2024 UTC. And, yes, it was exactly 00:00, when a custom table updated. The logs are updating, just not the tables. The last table update previous to that custom table was 05:03, 4 August 2024 User:WP 1.0 bot/Tables/OverallArticles, and prev to that 01:56, 4 August 2024 User:WP 1.0 bot/Tables/Project/United States. The logs aren't being properly updated either. The bot is pruning old dates without updating to add new dates worth of articles. Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Computing articles by quality log, for example, has been updated by the bot twice since August 4, but only to remove the logs for July 28 and July 29. At the rate its going, the page will soon be blank. It's doing this with every quality log page, actually—Special:Contributions/WP 1.0 bot is currently a sea of red. I just did some poking around, and it appears that maybe this is affected by a replag on enwiki caused by the work described in this Phabricator ticket. Stefen Towers among the rest! Gab • Gruntwerk 14:28, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well the replag is gone (new articles I've been creating show up in XTools now) but the bot keeps eating up logs without adding more entries. What's the story here? DigitalIceAge (talk) 04:46, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As theorized in this thread, this is indeed caused by the replag, which is now 175 hours. This means the WP 1.0 Bot hasn't received any new information since August 3, and so hasn't produced any "new" tables. I can confirm that the bot is running without errors, and is "trying" to update the tables, but since none of the information has changed, the Mediawiki software rejects/ignores those updateds.
As for the *_by_quality_log pages, the bot always deletes information older than 7 days. Since there is currently no new information, it appears that the bot is simply "blanking out" the page, but those entries were scheduled for removal anyways. The problem is that there are no new updates for the intervening days.
When the replica databases catch up, the *_by_quality_log pages will get a single update that contains all of the information for the missed days. This will all be attributed to whatever day it catches up, so on August 11 or whatever when it's fixed, you will get a log page that says "August 11: A, B, C, D" where all of those entries are the backlog since August 3.

Hi,

The categories for the related Wikiproject have moved from Category:LGBT articles by quality to Category:LGBTQ+ studies articles by quality. And for the person sub area from Category:LGBT studies - person articles by quality to Category:LGBTQ+ studies - person articles by quality.

Is there anything that will need to be done for the bot to pick up the change of the Project titles from "LGBT" to "LGBTQ+ studies"?

I saw there was the page at User:WP 1.0 bot/Tables/Project/LGBTQ+ studies and User:WP 1.0 bot/Tables/Project/LGBTQ+ studies - person which I already moved to match the new name, but just want to make sure this will actually be picked up by the bot when it does its nightly run? Content assessment bot query for WP:RNLI

I've just created the following categories (as well as sub-cats) for Wikipedia:WikiProject Water sports/RNLI task force:

I followed the instructions for setting up the bot but I'm unsure how to link the categories with the task force; only the parent WikiProject (Water sports) appears when I try to manually run the bot. Here's a link to an example article that has one of the task force's talk page templates: Talk:Fowey Lifeboat Station.

@Redrose64: The Cheeses task force of the Food and Drink WikiProject uses this feature. I've just compared the templates and read through the task force docs again and am now thinking it might have something to do with the TF_n_ASSESSMENT_CAT parameter:

Ooh, I think you actually solved this 12 years ago, Redrose64!
Might need to just add the |TF_n_QUALITY=, |tf n importance=, and |TF_n_ASSESSMENT_CAT= parameters to the talk page template.
