Personal attacks

[edit]

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. This is in reference to this edit. About the gametap.

[edit]

If the click on the link. They will come know whether is gametop or not. Adding gametap on the 2--7gaming makes it look ugly. Thank you --SkyWalker 19:31, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

STOP

[edit]

You are in violation of WP:3RR. There is an active poll which is going to end up being no consensus in determining what to do about Sonic in the article. Do not keep changing the article. --myselfalso 21:07, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You have broken a Wikipedia policy, through violating WP:3RR. And unfortunately for your position, consensus does matter, as consensus is the chief operator of Wikipedia. If you really believe that consensus does not matter, consider working on Uncyclopedia. --myselfalso 23:10, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to weed the info down. Don't worry. --myselfalso 19:32, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

learn to use your laptop.

[edit]

The website did NOT mess up your computer. YOu turned on the Numlock feature of your PC laptop by hitting the FN key, then the Numlock. Had nothign to do with the website at all. in the future, read the owner's manual and try to figure out why your somputer is 'messing up', before posting to a talk page on Wikipedia. BK games

[edit]

Just to let you know I've removed the Burger King games from the Microsoft Game Studios page again, as I don't think they were actually published by Microsoft. Everything I have seen - including the official Xbox website - says BK published the games themselves. I posted a message on the articles talk page (Talk:Microsoft_Game_Studios) if you want to discuss things there. SeanMooney 02:19, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, is there a reason as to why you removed the plot section of The Simpsons Movie? Gran2 21:54, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Sakeburein.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Sakeburein.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 21:10, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of NoobToob

[edit]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. AfD nomination of Marvel Universe Online

[edit]

I have nominated Marvel Universe Online, an article you have edited, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Marvel Universe Online. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. ~QuasiAbstract (talk/contrib) 21:57, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gmod isn't made by Valve

[edit]

Garry's Mod isn't created by Valve Software, it is created by Team GARRY. Do not move Gmod into the Valve section of Licensed Games in Source Engine. --FrostedBitesCereal (talk) 23:14, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Team Garry isn't part of Valve in any way, Gmod is published by Valve, but that DOES NOT mean Team Garry is part of Valve. Team GARRY is a indie Dev. --FrostedBitesCereal (talk) 23:23, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, looks like you need to be taught something. You stop, Valve owns Turtle Rock Studios which co-worked on Counter-Strike: Source, and created Left4Dead. Now Team GARRY isn't owned by Valve. Garry himself did make a deal with Valve to split the profits 50/50 in exchange for the Full Source Engine Source code. NOW Team Garry, is a INDEPENDENT DEVELOPER. They're not owned by Valve. So seriously stop changing the page to incorrect information. --FrostedBitesCereal (talk) 23:30, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Pocketbikeracerboxart 160w.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Pocketbikeracerboxart 160w.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:12, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Viva pinata special edition box art.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Viva pinata special edition box art.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 00:31, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
