Palm WebOS or Palm webOS
em... I don't know either - if a palm document starts with WebOS - it carries on using it in the document, if it starts with webOS, it carries on using it... em.. er.. ? dunno? --Cameron Scott (talk) 01:50, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
Palm WebOS or webOS
Maybe in the next few days it will say something here, http://www.palm.com/us/company/trademark.html --Mangoman88 (talk) 01:54, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
I will move the article to Palm WebOS or maybe webOS, we aren't sure and palm haven't made it clear - but hold on and we'll sort it out while we try and find out :-) --Cameron Scott (talk) 01:57, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
- The offical press release here: http://investor.palm.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=358392 has a lower case "w", and the trademark information at the bottom is a lower case "w" too. In the background of pictures from the CES presentation today the "w" was also lower case, so don't know? --Mangoman88 (talk) 02:00, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 03:36, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Venues of the 2002 Winter Olympics
As someone who has been working on this Olympic venue project since July, all I can say on Venues of the 2002 Winter Olympics is WOW! Good job! Chris (talk) 15:29, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
- I put the article up for a DYK nomination earlier tonight. Chris (talk) 00:44, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for the compliments Chris, I am actually now working on using the summary histories from that page and creating more detailed histories on each venue's individual page (and finding new stuff to improve the main article with also). I have been lucky creating it, mainly because the Utah State Library has a free online service that allows those living in Utah to access most of the digital editions of Utah's newspapers going back to the late 1980s, or else I wouldn't have had any information to build the articles with. Personally owning several Olympic related reports and guides for the 2002 Olympics helps too! I would imagine working on similar articles, especially from foreign countries can be frustrating, so I too applaud your work with Olympic venues!--Mangoman88 (talk) 05:01, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
- It is tough, but it can be done. Main issue I have had to contend with on the early venue articles is trying to find out information on the venues themselves. The first one that listed things other than the Olympic Stadium did not occur in earnest until 1912. Merry Christmas. Chris (talk) 22:23, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

DYK for Venues of the 2002 Winter Olympics
On 28 December 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Venues of the 2002 Winter Olympics, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that visitors of the 2002 Winter Olympics had the option of traveling to one of the venues by horse-drawn sleigh? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
