Hello Drini, thank you for fixing the vandalism to my user page and helping to revert the edits by the banned user Rovoam. See this notice for a "warning" about his recent anonymous editing. Thanks, jni 19:24, 24 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for reverting the troll User:151.197.45.20 on my page. I believe he is the same person as this user User:151.197.34.175 and possibly User:Sgt pepper 990. Do you know how we would go about getting one or all of them banned as they are nothing but disruptive to my and other users pages.Gateman1997 19:09, 17 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You stick a note in their talk pages when you see vandalism, and if they persist after some time, you go to WP:AIV and explain what's happening. -- < drini | ∂drini > 19:11, 17 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Whom do you think you are?

[edit]

So, you thought that you could edit my user page (AKA Scorpion's user page) without permission--do you? I have some words for you: "BACK OFF AND NEVER EDIT MY USER PAGE AGAIN!" Bye! (Note: This is your first warning.)

Unsigned comment from 66.234.197.162 -- < drini | ∂drini > 22:08, 19 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
It'd help if you signed up before editing. So other people could differentiate between some random people editing your user page . Regarding [1] which is significantly different from last modification from signed in user. -- < drini | ∂drini > 22:08, 19 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Moreover, you may want to read WP:NOT where it states:
Wikipedia is not: Personal homepages. Wikipedians have their own personal pages, but they are used for information relevant to working on the encyclopedia.
I wonder how User:Scorpion relates to wikiwork. -- < drini | ∂drini > 22:11, 19 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Although I enjoyed the remarks made about me on my user page (I understand the mind of the person who made the edits), I appreciate you reverting my user page. Do you happen to know who did that? I have an idea, but I'm not completely sure. Adamwankenobi 01:00, 27 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Well, your page history says that was an anonymous user from 69.168.22.7. That's all I know. -- (drini|) 01:06, 27 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reverting the vandalism to my User page. Owen× 16:18, 13 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for reverting vandalism to my page as well. Out of curiosity, what did the parenthetical "javascript" mean? [2] Hall Monitor 17:37, 13 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Because I'm not an admin yet, and to simplify the process of reverting, I used a script that emulates the rollback process. But then Everyking said I was confusing making people think I was an admin, so I modified the script a little bit so it would append (javascript) to the end and would be no room for confusion. -- (☺drini♫|) 17:52, 13 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

No Trigger Reversions!

[edit]

You just reverted my friend's edits to her own page back to my welcome to her. She forgot to log in before she did it. But yes, that IP WAS her, so, since I do not have admin powers or whatever, please revert her edit back to her profile on User:YourGirlfriend, I'm trying to show her how to use Wiki, and people like you are NOT HELPING AT ALL. -- NatsukiGirl\talk 07:40, 15 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You don't need admin powers to roll back things. I assume you talk about this: [3]. Here's how to undo it (it works on ANY page). Open the article you want to restore (in this case User:YourGirlfriend). Now click on "history", and you'll see all previous versions. Select the date for the version you want to restore and click on it. After it loads, edit the page, you'll get a warning about it not being the newest version, don't pay attention to it. Write "restore" on the summary and press save. -- (drini|) 07:44, 15 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thanks... but really... when it comes to a user page, it's best to let the user handle it. You just cost us both several minutes of time by doing that. I understand you perhaps thought it was someone other than her, but regardless, you didn't even wait two seconds before reverting it. I still consider it VERY rude. In the future, let the User handle their own page. -- NatsukiGirl\talk 07:53, 15 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I'm all agreeing with you. It's best to let the user handle. But if a user does not sign up, how can one distnguish from anonymous ips vandalizing user pages? See all over this talk examples of that. I'm sorry if you considered it rude. Again, I'm all for letting an user to handle their pages but users must be signed in to differentiate them from vandals. -- (drini|) 07:56, 15 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
She's brand new, she forgot to tick the "remember me' box. It's rude because it's a user page... not a priority page such a popular article. I still feel that you should not have done that. -- NatsukiGirl\talk 08:19, 15 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Alright , I won't touch it again, it's not like I'm acting in bad faith. -- (drini|) 21:26, 16 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reverting the vandalism to my user page [4]. Though I am somewhat confused, is this Ashida Kim guy just going around vandalising user pages at random? I'd never even heard of the guy or this whole dispute till today. -Loren 01:01, 21 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Yes he went semi-random today. He's upset that an entry wasn't deleted, so his child-like reaction was to go out and vandalize user pages. -- (drini|) 02:47, 21 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Well think about it, I've put my thinking cap on... You log off & vandalise people's user pages. Then you log back on again & remove the vandalism. Then the person who was vandalised gives you a little star thingy & thanks you for being sooo wonderful. People see all the litle star thingys on your user page & start to be nice to you & do things for you & eventually you become an administrator... The theory in all reality, could work...*Second Mysterious Pause* Spawn Man 22:48, 4 October 2005 (UTC) P.S. Don't block me just cause I'm on to you.....(Laughs)[reply]
