Yes, I also understand and agree that I will no longer make any edits to the L.A. Care wikipedia page. Thank you.

Request reason:

I was blocked after updating the L.A. Care Health Plan Wikipedia page to reflect the new office address and a picture of the new office location. My edits did not alter the content of the article but only updated the address and office building image, as L.A. Care has moved locations. Unfortunately, my changes were reverted, and the page now displays incorrect information. I understand the importance of adhering to Wikipedia's policies and will not make any further edits to the article content. Please unblock my account and restore my changes so that users can access the correct address and office building information. Thank you for considering my request. Accept reason:

One last chance, as last time may have been a misunderstanding, but it won't be considered so if there's any other problems. I have removed your edit request; while it's formatted alright, it goes on the article's talk page, not your user talk page.Seraphimblade Talk to me 18:50, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

To be very clear: No editing the article means no editing the article. If you can present a reliable source for something you think should be added or changed in the article, (for the purpose of a headquarters location, the company's own website would be sufficiently reliable; that's not a particularly controversial or self-serving fact), you can suggest the edit on the talk page along with the supporting source(s), and add {{edit COI}} above your proposed change to flag it for review by a non-COI editor. But you cannot continue to edit the article directly, in any way or for any reason. Do you now understand that and agree not to do so again? Seraphimblade Talk to me

Welcome!

Hello, Lacarehealthplan, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that one of the first articles you edited was L.A. Care Health Plan, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created L.A. Care Health Plan, and I noticed that the username you have chosen, "Lacarehealthplan", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website which relates to the entity in question, and Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or accounts that are shared. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our Conflict of interest guideline and Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 00:05, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Lacarehealthplan, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Request reason:

I have changed my username to comply with Wikipedia's username policy. My new username is [GuerreroDeSalud]. Please review my account and unblock it so I can continue to contribute positively to Wikipedia.

Accept reason:

Renamed so unblocked. You appear to have a conflict of interest around L.A. Care Health Plan. Your very next edit must be to publicly declare that conflict, as per WP:COI. You'll also be expected to refrain from direct edits to that article, and to refrain from any further spam or promotion. Yamla (talk) 09:49, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You could not have been more clearly told above that you must not directly edit the article L.A. Care Health Plan, and the very next edit you made was a direct edit to that article. Accordingly, I have reinstated the indefinite block. Seraphimblade Talk to me 04:31, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
