Duplicate images uploaded
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Carnival Ecstasy in Cozumel 6 Aug 2005.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:DSC02402.jpg. The copy called Image:DSC02402.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 23:44, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy for the following reason: Your name is against WP:USERNAME, Wikipedia is not for advertisements or promotion, please refer to WP:CHU.. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?
I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.
You have several options freely available to you:
- If you can relieve my concern through discussing it here, I can stop worrying about it.
- If the two of us can't agree here, we can ask for help through Wikipedia's dispute resolution process, such as requesting comments from other Wikipedians. Wikipedia administrators usually abide by agreements reached through this process.
- You can keep your contributions history under a new username. Visit Wikipedia:Changing username and follow the guidelines there.
Thank you. SRX 22:35, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Night Tracks logo blue.gif)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Night Tracks logo blue.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:35, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Hemmeter
[edit]Hi Andy, I see you started an article on the River City Casino started by Christopher Hemmeter. I wrote the Hemmeter article and knew Chris personally. My firm also helped bankroll some of his projects in New Orleans. Just wanted to connect with you and thank you for your work on Wikipedia. pmcyclist (talk) 00:34, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
STS-134
[edit]STS-134's Launch On Need rescue mission is not classified as STS-335, it is STS-135. All rescue missions if launched will now have the next flight's number as its mission designations (is. STS-127's LON rescue flight will be STS-128). NASA started doing this after about STS-123 or 124 (can't remember exactly when). Please leave it as is. I will add a ref to the article shortly.--Navy blue84 (talk) 17:55, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Cable Music Channel
[edit]I tried removing the facebook link on the Cable Music Channel page but everytime I try to do so, when it would come up on the edit page it would be listed as not there. Can you try and possibly remove the facebook link on the Cable Music Channel page? Thanks!--Chrismaster1 (talk) 01:54, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, I guess my Facebook friend set his uploaded videos only for his friends to see. I do however have a copy of that CMC video. I guess I'll have to upload it to YouTube and link it there to cite the facts of CMC shutting down after only 5 weeks on the air. Night Tracks (talk) 02:16, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks alot! --Chrismaster1 (talk) 20:55, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
- Do you know when you might get that uploaded to YouTube? --Chrismaster1 (talk) 19:55, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
- I'm working on it and hopefully I can get it up by Thursday. I will probably have to mute the "I Love L.A." song so YouTube doesn't block the video. Night Tracks (talk) 02:48, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
- I apologize for taking so long but the videos are finally uploaded. Night Tracks (talk) 17:13, 26 February 2013 (UTC)

[edit]File:The Chee-Weez at House of Blues 23 June 2007.jpg listed for discussion
[edit]A file that you uploaded or altered, File:The Chee-Weez at House of Blues 23 June 2007.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for discussion. Please see the discussion to see why it has been listed (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry). Feel free to add your opinion on the matter below the nomination. Thank you. Ixfd64 (talk) 06:34, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
The file File:Cw061118 (07).JPG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Uploaded for The Chee-Weez. No other use.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 14:51, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
