Response to the message you left at my talk page

The article in question was proposed for deletion by another editor because it was felt that the subject did not meet the inclusion criteria set out at Wikipedia:Notability (academics). After a week of no one contesting the proposal and my seeing it as a valid request I deleted the article. The article had been tagged for issues that could possibly lead to deletion for two years without improvement before deletion was finaly proposed. If you feel that the subject does meet Wikipedia:Notability (academics) or perhaps Wikipedia:Notability (people) you can bring up your concern at Wikipedia:Deletion review.
