Respectfully, I don't think it's promotional to state in a Wikipedia article the gallery that represents an artist. It's just a statement of fact and it might be of interest to someone who wants to inquire about the artist or the artist's work. The article about Josef Albers, for example, mentions that his estate is represented by the Zwirner Gallery. I am not affiliated with the David Zwirner Gallery. I am well aware that companies and people sometimes attempt to use Wikipedia as a means of promoting themselves, but that wasn't my intention. Chisme (talk) 18:37, 9 July 2021 (UTC)

Hello @Chisme:, I understand your concerns, however the purpose of Wikipedia is not promotion or to help people inquire about the artist or their work. This is a common issue we see on many artist pages, and it is often due to conflict of interest edits just like as you see on the Josef Albers article. Unfortunately it doesn't make it a correct editing practice. If you are still insisting you think this information belongs on the article, how about asking at the Wikipedia:Teahouse? Best of luck to you in your edits. Jooojay (talk) 19:04, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
