The Tanster image

[edit]

Hi. I see you have uploaded another photo of The Tanster and claim to own copyright on it. You may have taken the photo, but you cannot publish it under Creative Commons in this manner because you are not the original artist. Your first image of this here is licensed correctly, but it means that this image can only be used under 'fair use' rationale, on an article about the painting itself. You cannot use it to represent "The Tanster" on The Tanster article. Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 13:20, 25 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your message. Unfortunately it's complicated, but not impossibly so. Best place to start is here; Requesting Copyright Permission. Key thing to note there is that it is not enough to be granted permission to be used on Wikipedia alone. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 12:36, 27 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Valkyrie by The Tanster.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Valkyrie by The Tanster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 06:05, 2 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Grayfell (talk) 00:15, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article The Tanster has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability. Poorly sourced. Does not seem to meet the standards for Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
