Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to 2020s. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 23:35, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Move review failed notification

[edit]

You did not properly notify (step 3) myself nor the actual closer of that move request — what is up with that? El_C 01:22, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Concerning your edit here:

Why did you believe it was necessary to remove "widespread" when describing China's human rights abuses? It is a reasonable adjective, and other articles like Tajikistan and Zimbabwe also use the term in their lead paragraphs to describe human rights abuses. Information icon Hello, I'm 220 of Borg. I wanted to let you know that another editor removed one or more external links you added to the main body of COVID-19 pandemic in Australia. Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. Links within the body of an article should be internal Wikilinks. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page.

Page Creation

[edit]

Re you rquery at Talk:COVID-19 pandemic in Australia#Migrate Timeline to its own page?

Per Wikipedia:User access levels#Autoconfirmed and confirmed users

"A registered editor becomes WP:extendedconfirmed automatically when the account is both at least 30 days old and has made at least 500 edits (including deleted edits).
This user access right allows editors to edit and create pages that are under extended confirmed protection."

So you do need 500 edits to create a page by yourself. (Your account is also only ~ 10 days old, not 30.) Or you can make a request at Wikipedia:Articles for creation:

"The Articles for Creation (AfC) process is designed to assist any editor create a new page as a draft article, which they can work on and submit for review and feedback when ready."

Finally know why I can't create articles! In that case, do you mind creating it? PS Thanks for all the help, I couldn't have learnt all of this without you. And I guess the Aussie page might start to get some activity now :) JMonkey2006 (talk) 06:53, 11 January 2021 (UTC)t[reply]
It already exists separately as Draft:Timeline of the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia. Not sure why a draft as last I looked that section was still part of the main page. If anyone edits it that will need to be copied over to the draft. The draft, if suitable, just needs to be WP:MOVED to mainspace, & that section removed from the main page. 220 of ßorg 10:12, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
