Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article Dragon's Den (UK), please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Jezebel'sPonyoshhh 21:11, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Dorota stanczyk requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the notability of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Singularity42 (talk) 14:05, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I moved it

[edit]

I took the liberty of moving Dorota stanczyk to User:JJamieTurner/Dorota stanczyk. It was either that, or delete it, as it isn't yet ready for main space.

Let me know at my talk page if you have any questions.--SPhilbrickT 15:10, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

User:JJamieTurner/Dorota stanczyk, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:JJamieTurner/Dorota stanczyk and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:JJamieTurner/Dorota stanczyk during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. The Sun

[edit]

Hi my friend. I hope you are fine. Wikipedia works on "verifiability, not truth" as a guiding principle. In a nutshell, the policy states: “Any material added to Wikipedia must have been published previously by a reliable source. Editors may not add content solely because they believe it is true, nor delete content they believe to be untrue, unless they have verified beforehand with a reliable source.” At more length, this policy states that “Wikipedia's content is determined by previously published information rather than the beliefs or experiences of its editors. Even if you're sure something is true, it must be verifiable before you can add it. That we have rules for the inclusion of material does not mean that Wikipedians have no respect for truth and accuracy, just as a court's reliance on rules of evidence does not mean the court does not respect truth. Wikipedia values accuracy, but it requires verifiability.” BoyTheKingCanDance (talk) 13:24, 27 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I greatly appreciate the explanation and I read up on why The Sun specifically is not referenced as a reliable source. JJamieTurner (talk) 13:28, 27 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Help! We Bought a Hotel moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Help! We Bought a Hotel. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. BoyTheKingCanDance (talk) 07:48, 29 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
