Your GA nomination of Union Pacific Railroad
The article Union Pacific Railroad you nominated as a good article has passed , see Talk:Union Pacific Railroad for eventual comments about the article. Well done! FunPika 11:46, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
- Hello, I'm the co-ordinator for GAC backlog elimination drive. I would like to acknowledge you that Union Pacific Railroad's status may be reverted from GA class back to B class. The reason is that the previous reviewer, FunPika gave this article GA status not based on the GA criteria. I'm pretty sure he didn't follow the guidelines listed on WP:GAC as he also didn't follow the criteria to give another article with GA status. For details, please read Talk:Union Pacific Railroad#GA pass. If you have any questions regarding this issue, please don't hesitate to contact me. OhanaUnitedTalk page 17:52, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks
Thank you for your return welcome most enlightened pupil. You have acomplished much indeed. I would like to watch you for a week more and then you may graduate from my class. --Tλε Rαnδom Eδιτor (ταlκ) 20:16, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
- The best way to understand, what directories are disallowed is to read thoroughly, WP:NOT#DIR. Finally, if you give me the name of the article you nominated for deletion, I will explain why the nomination for deletion was opposed. --Tλε Rαnδom Eδιτor (ταlκ) 18:39, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- Always feel free to ask me questions. For your answer read Wikipedia:Uploading images#Multiproject upload. --Tλε Rαnδom Eδιτor (ταlκ) 22:31, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
Well, I was looking for a prettier way to do this, but I'm not very artistic, so I'll just say thank you for your support in my RfA, which was closed as successful. I look forward to serving the community in a new way. Take care! -- But|seriously|folks 08:32, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
Barnstar
The Adopt-a-User Barnstar | ||
I, The Random Editor, award thee Hirohisat, The Adopt-a-user Barnstar. I award you this barnstar for being such a understanding and cooperative pupil. --Tλε Rαnδom Eδιτor (ταlκ) 02:04, 15 July 2007 (UTC) |
- It really doesn't imply that you have to work harder, but It can be a incentive if you want. No worries about not being on EN wikipedia. Take your time on IS wikipedia. --Tλε Rαnδom Eδιτor (ταlκ) 21:24, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
- Okay here is the DL (down-low). According to Wikipedia:Userpages#Copies of other pages, having a permenant copy of article on your userpage is not really allowed. However, you also have to remember WP:IAR. Here is what I would do about it. Wait a week or so and if the editor does no make any constructive edits propose the userpage's deletion at WP:MFD. Hope that helps. --Tλε Rαnδom Eδιτor (ταlκ) 02:13, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
- I have a few things to say to you. First it is not neccessarily true that a user should not give himself barnstars. If he does, he is being a bit conceited, but nonetheless don't bite him. Second the best thing to do would be to apologize. I would not suggest you act on this in any way whatsoever. It was primarily your fault. No worries. I made mistakes like that too. I would just reccomend you apologize and ask his forgiveness. You will save the most face that way. --Tλε Rαnδom Eδιτor (ταlκ) 21:05, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
- Hello there Hirohisat, I have been running through your edits for quite awhile. I would like to say that your mainspace contribs are quite impressive. However, I recommend try to source the articles. See WP:VERI and WP:CITE. I would say it would be a good idea if you had a editor review. And as of today you have graduated. --Tλε Rαnδom Eδιτor (ταlκ) 21:47, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- þú velkominn. I know my icelandic is incorrect so please correct me. You have truly been a fantastic adoptee. Happy Editing. --Tλε Rαnδom Eδιτor (ταlκ) 17:57, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
How very rude of you
I'll have you know I cried a little after you sent me that message. How dare you be such a big,bad bully. You should be ashamed of yourself, abusing your power like that.If I knew whoto complain to then I certainly would.I wouldn't be surprised if you deleted the comment.Oh yeah, just the sort of thing a bully would do,rather than apologise like a nice human being. Just because I don't know much about Wikipedia doen't mean you can make fun of me.I really am disappointed in you.You make me sick. Tagging blocks
Hello Hirohisat. It's not necessary to tag users that were blocked many months ago; see Wikipedia:Deny recognition for the rationale for the common practice of deleting old user pages belonging to indefinitely blocked users.
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to ask them here or on my talk page. —{admin} Pathoschild 22:15:12, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
RE:Coqui
Hello. I'm very glad you're interested in our culture. As pointed out in the Puerto Rico article, coquíes are a national symbol because they were originally endemic to our island and most species of coquíes can only be found on El Yunque, another national symbol. Their sound is very loud. Just yesterday I told my mother that estan prendidos hoy, which means "they are signing actively tonight". But we (Puerto Ricans) don't really mind. Sometimes you even forget that there are coquíes because you've been hearing them since you were born. I especially like them because, when Americans visit the island, they are always complaining that they can't sleep because of the sound, and that's very funny to a nationalist. I hope this explains what you wanted to learn! Happy editing! --Boricuaeddie hábleme 13:31, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
Eddie has given you a coquí! Coquíes are endemic to Puerto Rico and somehow promote the WikiLove. Hopefully, this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by giving something friendly to someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Make your own message to spread WikiLove to others! Happy editing!

Right to disappear
This is ridiculous. I did something stupid, I apologized...and I wish to exercise my right to disappear from this idiotic site. This kind of bureaucratic idiocy is what chased me off in the first place. PLEASE allow my IP page to remain blanked. The vandal I insulted (and shouldn't have) is getting more respect than I am...and I'm being nice and upfront. OK? I'll save you the trouble and blank it myself. I just want to remain off of Wikipedia. Period. Thank you. 74.62.174.104 01:34, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
Thank you SO much. I apologize if I came off hot. It's just that I felt that a troll was getting more respect than I was getting, especially in light of the fact that I was considering doing some real editing and contributing. I've applied the template per your suggestion. Once again, many thanks and keep fighting the good fight. Respectfully, 74.62.174.104 01:40, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

Re: Barnstar
Sweet! I only started getting into RC patrolling like a few weeks ago. So thanks for noticing, appreciate it heaps! ;) Spellcast 05:52, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Good Morning (BST time); regarding the above user talk page, I'd be thankful if you would not post block messages to User's unless you are the blocking Administrator, especially when the user account has not yet been blocked: this may simply serve to lead the user onto a disruptive rampage, rather than quietly removing their editing privileges like Blocking is supposed too.
However, if an Admin. has blocked, but not left a message, feel free to post in on their behalf, noting that you're not an Administrator (most people don't take kindly to people "posing" as a sysop, even accidentally).
Thanks for your co-operation, and helping the encyclopedia!
Kind regards,
Anthøny 07:57, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
welcome again!
Hello. I suppose you won't be surprised if I say I can't quite recall leaving you that welcoming message! In any case, I'm happy to see you're sticking around. Cheers, Pascal.Tesson 20:34, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Thank you
Thank you for taking the time to add your thoughts to the discussion at my recent Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Angus Lepper RfA, which failed, with no consensus to promote me. However, I appreciate the concerns raised during the course of the discussion (most notably, a lack of experience, particularly in admin-heavy areas such as XfDs and policy discussions) and will attempt to address these before possibly standing again in several months time. Thanks!
My RFA | ||
User:TenPoundHammer and his romp of Wikipedia-editing otters thank you for participating in Hammer's failed request for adminship, and for the helpful tips given to Hammer for his and his otters' next run at gaining the key. Also, Hammer has talked to the otters, and from now on they promise not to leave fish guts and clamshells on the Articles for Deletion pages anymore. My RfA
Hi, Hirohisat, and thanks for your participation in my RfA. I've withdrawn it, and will be writing up an "analysis" of it, which will soon be available at User:Giggy/RfA/Giggy when it's done. Please come around when you get the chance, and give me feedback on how I can improve. Thanks again, Giggy UCP 04:07, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- The opposers were indeed getting a bit hot...but I guess once the pile on starts it won't stop (unless it's a support pile on, in which case 1 oppose can stop it :P). Anyway, once I've written up my notes, I'll leave you a message since you're looking forward to it :) Giggy UCP 04:51, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- The analysis is up :) Giggy UCP 22:27, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
