Thank you today for Wolverton Viaduct, introduced: "Wolverton Viaduct is (and this will shock you!) a viaduct. Near (wait for it!) Wolverton. In Buckinghamshire, south-central England. It was built in the 1830s and still carries trains today. Its designer was the famous Robert Stephenson and it is the largest viaduct on his pioneering railway from London to Birmingham (and probably the only one with FA potential). Stephenson was a conservative engineer and Wolverton is not much compared to some that followed, whether by Stephenson or other engineers. These days it would be made with machines and pre-cast concrete but a six-arch, 50ft-high bridge over a major river in what was then open countryside would have been a sight to behold in an era when everything still had to be done by manual labour."! -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:09, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Today is Schoenberg's 150th birthday! On display, portrayed by Egon Schiele, with music from Moses und Aron, and with two DYK hooks, one from 2010 and another from 2014; the latter, about his 40th birthday, appeared on his 140th birthday, which made me happy then and now again. - See places for a stunning sunrise, on the day Bruckner's 200th birthday was celebrated (just a few days late). --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:55, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

For taking care of the user who was attacking me. Cheers! JeffSpaceman (talk) 12:27, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As an additional note, it may be worthwhile to remove their edits to Isla Bryson case from the page history, given that they deadname and misgender a living transgender person. JeffSpaceman (talk) 12:29, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The dead name and transition etc are documented in the article so I don't think revdel or suppression would be justified. If our friend evades his block semi protection is probably the way to go. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 15:01, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Has Arbcom received my recent email?

I tried to forward something you all need to see. Not sure it worked, maybe I need to just copy it. Doug Weller talk 07:44, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Doug Weller I think so. I'll reply to the latest email we have from you so we can be sure. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 08:12, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Can you block a user that deleted a content from Don Quijote (store)?

[edit]

That would be safer for me. 2404:C0:1C40:0:0:0:1A0:FD85 (talk) 05:37, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

IP, If you mean with this edit, then I think it is unlikely anyone will be blocked. The section carries no citations to support the information, so there is no vandalism or any grounds on which a block could be issued. The best thing to do would be to find reliable sources that support the information and add them. That way no-one will remove it on the grounds it is wrong. - SchroCat (talk) 06:22, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
