You have marked this article for deletion under A7. Could you please provide Explain as to why you believe this article should be deleted? Additionally, could explain how you came to the conclusion that this article on Jogendra Kc reads like an advertisement and highlight any other issues that you may have noticed. Hi Stanley Gordon – I'm just dropping you a note to say that I reverted your GA nomination of List of Fairport Convention members for two reasons. Firstly, per WP:GAI, Nominators must have contributed significantly to the article and be familiar with its subject and cited sources; you have not edited the article at all. Secondly, the good article criteria state that stand-alone lists are not eligible for GA status; they should be nominated for featured list status. If you do want to nominate the list as a featured list, you should note that the instructions there require that Those who are not significant contributors to the list should consult regular editors of the list before nomination. Caeciliusinhorto-public (talk) 15:03, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that I did not read the requirements for a GA nom thoroughly enough; thank you for informing me. -- Stanley Gordon (talk) 15:09, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ruben Garcia (coach) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Ruben Garcia (coach), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. An article you recently created, Wilson Vasconcelos, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) WP:NFOOTY is no longer a valid SNG, so GNG must be met. It needs several refs from independent, reliable, secondary sources to pass WP:GNG. It should have at least 3 of those. Deletion discussion about Embassy of Angola, Rome

[edit]

Hello Stanley Gordon, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Embassy of Angola, Rome, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Embassy of Angola, Rome.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|TimothyBlue}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Hello, Stanley Gordon

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Chaotic Enby, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Sunny Brar, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Chaotic Enby}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!
