{{helpme}} Need help with the coords on Pen Dinas. Thanks. ~Geaugagrrl talk 15:50, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
- User:Stwalkerster fixed it :) - NuclearWarfare contact meMy work 15:57, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
- Fixed (template and coords), and fixed (display: title). You might want to take a look at Template:Coord/doc :) Stwalkerster [ talk ] 15:59, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks :) I will have a look at the document. ~Geaugagrrl talk
Denbighshire navigator
Is {{Denbighshire}} ready for use? I added it to the article on Meliden without checking whether it was being used elsewhere (only appears in a couple of articles as far as I can see). -- Skarl 23:41, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Please feel free to use/edit any and all at will. I started that project without enough looking around on other PAOW pages to see all the other nav boxes already in use. Shame on me. So do you think it is a good design? I should really propose it to the project. Thanks for asking first! ~Geaugagrrl talk 01:00, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- The design seems fine to me, I just wasn't sure whether I ought to have put it in the article yet. If you do propose it, can you let me know so I can watch the discussion? Cheers. -- Skarl 10:14, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yes please, and thanks for your offer of help. I am making the shell for each of the last remaining areas, adding template assess to all. Cheers. ~Geaugagrrl talk 10:18, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
{{helpme}}
Need help with the opening text of Ysbyty Ystwyth. Yikes what did I do wrong. ~Geaugagrrl talk 06:31, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- Looks like you had a space before the text, if there is anything else I am missing, post here and I will check it out. --Terrillja talk 06:41, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the explanation & help. That was mighty powerful space. ~Geaugagrrl talk 06:44, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Wales templates
Hi there - this is my subsidiary account for when I enforce a wikibreak on my main account but can't keep away... The answer to the Gwynedd template is that you need something in list 1; if it's blank, you don't get the image. I would think that Bangor and Caernarfon at least would qualify as "principal settlements", but I'll leave the decision to you. Not sure re Cardiff. Must dash. PS see Template:* for the bullets. Bencherheavy (talk) 21:02, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- Bench I could tell it was you, I was teasing! Thanks for the template tips. Wikipedia:Wikiholic is hard to cure, if at all? I even mobile wiki-edit. ~Geaugagrrl talk 02:33, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi Geaugagrrl, have started messing with your Merthyr Tydfil template. As Merthyr is made up of 12 communities, I thought that these could stand out rather than the term "principal settlements". Happy if you disagree, but I just created the Dowlais page, rather than it pointing to the Ironworks, and wanted a Merthyr Template, to find you had one under creation. Lots to do in Merthyr. Happy New Year. FruitMonkey (talk) 21:13, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
- Hi FruitMonkey and Happy New Year! Thanks for jumping in to help with the template. All assistance is welcome. I toss the shells out there for others to fill as I only have been feeling qualified to work on template:Ceredigion. If you look at that talk page, you can see how this project started and morphed. Would the UK Geo project provide guidance? BTW, have you seen the new color scheme I tossed at Ceredigion? Please let me know what you think? Bye for now. ~Geaugagrrl talk 21:35, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Geauga, is all the bog content sourced? A lot of it looks like it's cut and pasted or copied from elsewhere... ChildofMidnight (talk) 07:34, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- You can call me GG if you'd rather. Working on issues. ~Geaugagrrl talk 14:15, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
I've had a look at Cors Caron and made some editorial changes to try to help meet WP:MOS - but I'm concerned that a lot of the text gives the appearance of being a straight cut and paste copyright violation. Can we try to improve the article? - I'm happy to help if I can (I'll track down what info I've got). Regards, Ghmyrtle (talk) 10:50, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- The sections should be blockquoted. The text were reformatted by another user as italics. DYK comments indicated more explanation of why the site was chosen, hence the added soon-to-be-quoted text was added. And I have citations for the areas indicated. I have been distracted by holiday events and unable to attend to these issues. Thanks for keeping a sharp eye out for Wiki editing. ~Geaugagrrl talk 13:51, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- I don't have much more info other than a short leaflet I picked up there a few months ago - I'll be out of action for most of the next few days, but let me know if you're unhappy with my earlier edits and I'll explain them. Ghmyrtle (talk) 13:56, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- Well it is on the DYK list already so I am speedily making changes even before morning coffee-not a pretty site. It's my fault for being editing on holiday during a snow confinement. Hopefully this will work. Back at it... ~Geaugagrrl talk 14:00, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- You've been to the location?!?!?!? Please review to see if I missed anything? Cheers. ~Geaugagrrl talk 14:14, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yes I have - pleasant, but not very exciting on the day I was there! Thanks for your support on the article - usually I'm accused by the English editors of being pro-Welsh, and by the Welsh editors of being pro-English - the perils of coming from the border area I think! Ghmyrtle (talk) 08:58, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Ghmyrtle. If you want to share pictures of your trip to Cors, I would like to see then? Send to me at: geaugagrrl@gmail.com. I intend to visit when I make my next trip to Wales *smile* I still disagree with the naming on the picture, but we have to go by the decided conventions of the Wikicommunity. I barely have enough time to edit, none left to make such a fight. I really appreciate all your contributions! You are a valued editor to the Wales project whom I admire and look up to. Happy New Year! ~Geaugagrrl talk 13:16, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- ...hic!.. sorry, thanks for the pint! I don't think I took any photos - it's not especially photogenic and I didn't see any very interesting wildlife when I was there. I just called in while passing really, having visited this place nearby, which was very interesting (but, when I was there, also very wet). Happy New Year to you too! Ghmyrtle (talk) 13:26, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- Now that looks positively dreamy to me! Strata is on my list to next expand. That and the Stedmans and Herberts. Cheers! ~Geaugagrrl talk 13:32, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- These Herberts? I'll try to help - in my "spare time" (ha!) I'm doing some research into the history of my local area, where they figure a lot. Ghmyrtle (talk) 13:39, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

I noticed you working on Trawsgoed. Is that the same Trawsgoed mentioned in Llanfihangel y Creuddyn#Present day? If so it need wikilinking there and the the status as a community (local government) needs to be mentioned. Agathoclea (talk) 11:14, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
- Indeed it is, but I was not certain of the reference so I did not add the link. If it is correct, please wikify or I can. Are you familiar with the area? I intend to expand both articles after more research. Lordship of Creuddyn information needs to be incorporated into Ll-y-C. Cheers. ~Geaugagrrl talk 13:27, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
- After taking a close look at the article I noticed that Trawsgoed does not cover the modern Community of Trawsgoed which is a separate entity to the Trawsgoed Estate. I believe the article should move to Trawsgoed Estate and a new article about the area of Trawsgoed should be in its place. This article would then include a short mention of the Estate and will link to it. But then again there are still many communities of Wales missing so there is no real hurry. Agathoclea (talk) 08:38, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- I take it you live somewhere closeby? Then http://www.ceredigion.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=10344 should be of interest in finding sources. I believe Ceredigion Council has those available somehow. Agathoclea (talk) 08:53, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

- Hi Agathoclea. Thanks for the clarification and the link on Trawsgoed. I will use that for research. I might enlist your aid on the new article about the community. What should the article be named? Actually I live in DuPont, Washington. I have been to Wales twice, and intend to return as soon as I can. My Wiki Wales editing is an offshoot of genealogy research. Bye for now. ~Geaugagrrl talk 13:24, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
