Text repetition bug

[edit]

The script seems to sometimes copy and repeat portions of text. I only noticed this recently, within the last week.

"This journey was originally planned by Hannibal's brother-in-law Hasdrubal the Fair, who became a Carthaginian general in the Iberian Peninsula in 229 BC.

@Erutuon: Haha thanks for the catch, I'll check it out. Any more examples would be appreciated. Are you saying this definitely didn't happen to that exact paragraph about a week or more ago? Any more info would definitely help, since this script is pretty complicated; I didn't write it very well at the time, unfortunately. Gary (talk · scripts) 03:32, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Okay fixed now. Gary (talk · scripts) 03:46, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know specifically about that paragraph because I didn't visit it till today, but it's only recently that I started noticing text with dates being weirdly duplicated in various articles. I think I would have noticed if it happened before. But yay, it's fixed now. Thanks for the script! It's quite handy when I'm reading biographical articles. — Eru·tuon 04:51, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
