Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. [edit]Hi Fylwind I am currently writing a paper in which I am using one equation you wrote in the "incomplete gamma function" wiki. It is the second equation in the "asymptotic behavior" section. Do you know a reference or a source to cite this formula ? If so, can you send me this reference to mohammad.shehab@oulu.fi.
Thanks
- Based on the reference I added in those sets of edits, I think it may have been from http://dlmf.nist.gov/8.4#E15 --Fylwind (talk) 17:30, 11 July 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply. Actually, I think it is not the right equation. If you happen to remember any other clue, please let me know. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shehab wiki (talk • contribs) 10:12, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
- The asymptotic behavior is easily derived from that equation (that same equation from DLMF is also shown here: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Incomplete_gamma_function#cite_ref-6 ). Just throw away all but the z−n ≡ xs term. --Fylwind (talk) 20:06, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
Alright, Thank you very much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shehab wiki (talk • contribs) 12:01, 13 July 2017 (UTC)
