The article Sarah Chatfield has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. AstroCog (talk) 12:06, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
Hi Eliza, please check out Wikipedia:BLP for information about building a biography of a living person. It may be that Sarah Chatfield is notable enough for a wikipedia article, but right now, there aren't any independent sources to support the article. The Colonel Blimp page is a primary source associated with the artist, so it doesn't count. Try using a magazine/newspaper database search (available at most libraries) to find articles and other reliable sources for this page. Good luck. You can always leave me a message on my talk page if you have questions or want advice. Cheers, AstroCog (talk) 12:26, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
- Hi Eliza, please take a look at this page on how to use links in Wikipedia. I've noticed that you've been working with links and references, but haven't been entering them in correctly. It would be helpful for you to see how the editing background and markup works for them. Cheers, AstroCog (talk) 14:40, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
