Little context in Web Compatibility Test for Mobile Browsers
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Web Compatibility Test for Mobile Browsers, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Web Compatibility Test for Mobile Browsers is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Web Compatibility Test for Mobile Browsers, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. File source problem with File:Choqok-greenish.png
Thanks for uploading File:Choqok-greenish.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:52, 12 March 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. IngerAlHaosului (talk) 19:52, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

Template:Hider hiding
Why do you redirect Template:Hider hiding to Template:Navbox? This way Moscow#Tram has a problem in displaying tram routes. --Quest for Truth (talk) 20:48, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
- okay, fixed. Merged because navbox can act same that template.(same other merged with navbox templates) --ebraminiotalk 21:11, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
Rollback and reviewer granted
I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback correctly, and for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. Dabomb87 (talk) 15:54, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
- Also, I have given you reviewer rights. See WP:REVIEWER and Help:Pending changes for more information. As I mentioned on the requests page, please remember to warn vandals. Cheers, Dabomb87 (talk) 15:54, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
- thanks a lot.--ebraminiotalk 17:06, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Hi, I noticed that you recently reinstated the average_salary field in this template. There are a few of us arguing that it makes no sense to have this field in an international encyclopedia. Please feel free to contribute to the discussion. — Smjg (talk) 22:08, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
- Just to let you know, I've commented this out for the time being. Shimgray | talk | 11:04, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
Apple media events
Hello, I see you have listed yourself as a participant at Wikiproject Computing Assessment, as being interested in evaluating computing-related articles. There is a discussion right now at Talk:Apple media events about the article Apple media events. The questions are: 1) Does the article Apple media events fall under Wikiproject Computing; and if so, 2) What Importance (Top, High, Mid, Low) should it be assigned? Your participation is appreciated! Thanks... Zad68 (talk) 18:36, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
Invitation to events in June and July: bot, script, template, and Gadget makers wanted
I invite you to the yearly Berlin hackathon, 1-3 June. Registration is now open. If you need financial assistance or help with visa or hotel, then please register by May 1st and mention it in the registration form.
This is the premier event for the MediaWiki and Wikimedia technical community. We'll be hacking, designing, teaching, and socialising, primarily talking about ResourceLoader and Gadgets (extending functionality with JavaScript), the switch to Lua for templates, Wikidata, and Wikimedia Labs.
We want to bring 100-150 people together, including lots of people who have not attended such events before. User scripts, gadgets, API use, Toolserver, Wikimedia Labs, mobile, structured data, templates -- if you are into any of these things, we want you to come!
I also thought you might want to know about other upcoming events where you can learn more about MediaWiki customization and development, how to best use the web API for bots, and various upcoming features and changes. We'd love to have power users, bot maintainers and writers, and template makers at these events so we can all learn from each other and chat about what needs doing.
Check out the the developers' days preceding Wikimania in July in Washington, DC and our other events.
Best wishes! - Sumana Harihareswara, Wikimedia Foundation's Volunteer Development Coordinator. Please reply on my talk page, here or at mediawiki.org. Sumana Harihareswara, Wikimedia Foundation Volunteer Development Coordinator 20:15, 2 April 2012 (UTC)
User script list deprecation
Wikipedia's list of user scripts is in bad shape, in that it is disorganized and contains many non-working, unmaintained, or thoroughly obsolete entries. Cleanup has been on the to-do list since 2007, but little progress has been made. Instead, the whole list is now set to be deprecated on 1 May 2012, to be replaced with a new list. This draft list has been up for about a month, and in that time I've been soliciting script users and authors to come add scripts they know to be working and relevant.
If you know of scripts that you would like to survive this deprecation (and are confirmed working and relevant), you're welcome to add them to the new list. Note that the old list will be retained and linked from the main list, so there is no real deadline. Thanks for your help. Equazcion (talk) 00:56, 22 Apr 2012 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:JIRA-logo.gif)
Thanks for uploading File:JIRA-logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:15, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- For future reference, it is avaiable under File:JIRA logo.svg. –ebraminiotalk 07:43, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 1
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited SmartOS, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page KVM (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please make sure to include an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! It took me a second to figure out that you were removing redundant interwiki links. It would be nice not to have to open up the wikidata page to understand the edits. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Lexicogrammar may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. License tagging for File:Haaretz logo.svg
Thanks for uploading File:Haaretz logo.svg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:05, 17 July 2013 (UTC)

Need Help!
Hi Ebraminio, I just copied your tofawiki.js script and pasted as tourwiki.js here after having translated some strings to urdu, but this script dose not work for urdu wiki, so what should I do? :) Muhammad Shuaib (talk) 18:00, 17 September 2014 (UTC)
- It is highly tighten to Persian Wikipedia tools and our bots and it is not meant for just copying and I was just talking to Amir about this and he told "You are picking up things without permission specially through the shared accounts on labs and toolserver and thus you won't get any kind of help". –ebraminiotalk 18:56, 17 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi Ebraminio, just wanted to say that the "!!" link in ArticleTranslator does not work for me. My guess is that after the recent labs security reboot, linkstranslator service has stopped and needs a manual restart. Regards. Dalba 11 Bahman 1393/ 13:37, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

'chromium' tool
Hello!
Your tool 'chromium' on toollabs seems to be trying to auto download a .exe file onto users' computers. I've stopped the webservice for now, and am wondering if you can tell me why it is doing this? I see that you are experimenting with iojs (which is awesome!) but prompting people to downloading .exe seems a bit suspect, hence the precautions. Thanks! YuviPanda (talk) 07:02, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
- YuviPanda: Use of iojs is needed for my tools because of this issue. I wrote that tool for myself to automate downloading latest nightly version of Chrome, probably I shouldn't make it that much easy accessible for everyone which is fixed now. Thank you –ebraminiotalk 12:48, 5 February 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Request for User script
Hi Ebrahim, Is there any user script to add automatically navboxes in articles (which exist in navbox)? --Muhammad Shuaib (talk) 14:18, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Muhammad Shuaib. Such tasks (doing sequence of things on JavaScript) are kinda hard to do as a userscrpt. I am not saying it is impossible but it needs a huge deal of effort :( Also sorry for not updating the direction extension, I have less access to desktop machine for developing things nowadays, hope to be resolved on the coming month or so. BTW I have a nice idea for Urdu Wikipedia; it is about embedding a free Urdu Nastaliq font on the Wiki so your Wiki will be shown with an appropiate font no matter of availability of a Nastaliq font on the system. Would you please send an email to me? Thank you −ebrahimtalk 18:50, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
- Ah, this is an indispensable task for whole Urdu community, plz check i have emailed you. Muhammad Shuaib (talk) 07:57, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

Inactive bot on Latvian Wikipedia
Hello!
As a bureaucrat on Latvian Wikipedia (lvwiki), I was checking the activity of the bots, and noticed that yours had been inactive from at least September 2013. It is not reasonable that an unmonitored account keeps a bot flag, as it may be more easily hacked. If you have any future plans for bot running or want to keep this flag for some other reasons, please make a note at this table. You can also contact me directly via my user talk at User talk:Edgars2007.
If you have no objections or we won't receive any response for a month, we will remove bot flag. Thanks a lot for your previous contributions! --Edgars2007 (talk/contribs) 08:40, 27 May 2018 (UTC)
- User:Edgars2007 Hi! I don't need the flag, feel free to remove it. Thanks! −ebrahimtalk 15:51, 27 May 2018 (UTC)
