Hi Dr. Kadzi - I did contest the speedy deletion and included an explanation for why I think the article isn't promotional. However, since I am a relatively new Wikipedia writer, I am definitely willing to edit/rewrite the article to make it better and more encyclopedia-like. Do you have any specific suggestions or advice for how I could do that?

Hi Dr. Kadzi - that's a great suggestion! I'll go change that phrasing as well as some of the other phrasing that might sounds biased or promotional. And with regard to that specific suggestion, I just realized that there's a space in the info box for fund size, so I can actually put that information there (rather than in the body of the article).
