Information icon Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Gloucester, Massachusetts, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 12:50, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Do you mean the listing of writer Bob Sassone on the Gloucester, Massachusetts page? I linked to his Wikipedia page. This is what all of the other notable people on that page have as well. (Though now you have taken down his Wikipedia page too, heh.) Davescribe22 (talk) 13:22, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Notice

The article Bob Sassone has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hello. Please be nice to the editors that respond to you. They're (we're) not obligated to respond to you, and implying that a veteran editor is lesser than you for using the slightly more complicated Source Editor is a good way to get a warning for personal attacks. (Not that that specifically will, but if you keep going about it like that)

Hello. I didn't think that pointing out that he was using the Source Editor to respond to me when every other editor just hit "reply" wasn't being "nice." I just didn't get why he did it (I'm new here). And if you look at his comments to me, he's not being nice either. Davescribe22 (talk) 13:32, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oy, Wikipedia speak. We're all using the source editor in that conversation. 😅 But most of us are using the reply tool in source editing mode, while Cullen is just replying the old-fashioned way (which does break the reply tool, I've noticed that too). Davescribe22, I do hope you stick around, Wikipedia isn't such a bad place, but folks often get off on the wrong foot when they jump into the deep end of article creation right off the bat and are burned by deletion/rejection. 199.208.172.35 (talk) 14:24, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not going to stick around but if I had it would be because of nice people like you. Thanks for the reply, it's much appreciated. Davescribe22 (talk) 14:36, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
