Your submission at Articles for creation: Gbehzohngar Findley (January 30)

[edit]

You need to be patient and wait for the article to be approved. Do not move it into article space; the reviewer will do that when and if it is approved. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 22:02, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This feels like an admonishment but I thought I was within my right to "Move a Page" if I was autoconfirmed and had made 10 edits, pursuant to the instructions on this link: Help:How_to_move_a_page. Obviously this is contradictory information coming from Wikipedia and yourself, which is confusing. But I trust your advice and will wait for the review if that is what is actually required.Yawolloh Emsti (talk) 22:52, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hey! I'm sorry about Jéské's comment. Due to the huge quantity of very poor quality drafts submitted through the Articles for creation process, we sometimes have to 'rule with an iron fist' as it were, and we discourage out of process moves to mainspace because 90% of those who do so tend to have drafts we would have declined. Having reviewed your draft, I'd say you're in the 10% of good moves, and you are welcome to just create directly in mainspace in the future if you'd like to do so. WikiProject Africa

[edit]

Hi Yawolloh Emsti,

I saw your work on articles related to Africa and wanted to say hello, as I work in the topic area too. If you haven't already, you might want to watch the WikiProject Africa talk page, which is a noticeboard for Wikipedia's Africa coverage. It's a great place to ask questions, collaborate, discuss style/structure precedent, and stay informed about Africa-related content. Take a look for yourself!

And if you're looking for other juicy places to edit, consider adopting a cleanup category or participating in one of our current formal discussions.

Feel free to say hi on my talk page and let me know if these links were helpful (or at least interesting). Welcome to Wikipedia! Hope to see you around. czar 23:00, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
