Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:CrowdLED requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 15:46, 10 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I would like to explain that my intention was not to promote my company, but rather to provide accurate and informative content about it. As a new user, I was not aware of the difference between making a contribution and creating a page. However, after reading the guidelines and policies of Wikipedia, I now understand the importance of providing unbiased and neutral information to the community.
I want to assure you that I will do whatever it takes to comply with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I understand that Wikipedia is not a platform for advertising, and I will not use my account to promote my company or any other organization in the future. I am committed to contributing to Wikipedia in a way that benefits the community and provides accurate and reliable information.
Regarding the requested change of username, I have searched Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy, and have chosen [crowdLED B.V] as my new username. My reasons for being unblocked are as follows:
1. I understand the reason for my block and I will not repeat the kind of edits for which I was blocked. I now fully comprehend the importance of providing unbiased and neutral information to the community and will only make contributions that align with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
2. I am passionate about contributing to Wikipedia and intend to make useful contributions to the community. Specifically, I would like to focus on providing accurate and informative content related to the technology industry, as well as contributing to existing articles and pages.
3. I would like to disclose that I will not receive any compensation for my contributions to Wikipedia.
I understand that my actions may have caused inconvenience to the community, and I apologize for that. Please know that I am committed to making a positive impact and being a valuable contributor to the community. CrowdLED (talk) 10:23, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Please understand that Wikipedia is not a place for companies to tell the world about themselves and what they do- that is considered promotional here, you do not have to be soliciting customers or selling something. This is not a database of companies where existence permits inclusion; this is an encyclopedia with criteria for inclusion, called notability. Wikipedia articles(not "pages") summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about(in this case) a company, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Please read conflict of interest and paid editing. You won't be unblocked to, in the short term, edit about your company or anything for which you have a conflict of interest. If that is your only goal here, this is the end of the road. If you are interested in being a more general contributor and editing about topics for which you have no conflict of interest, please tell what those might be. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 10:30, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
