Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Hive (film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sundance. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:06, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The Djinn moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, The Djinn, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 03:25, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stay off my talk page

[edit]

This is your only courtesy message about unnecessary messages

Stay off my talk page. See wp:OWNTALK. You violated it as I can remove whatever I want. Also reporting me will go the same way as the previous time you attempted to report me: it didn't go anywhere.

I repeat: DO NOT EDIT MY TAKK PAGE EVER AGAIN. Starzoner (talk) 11:55, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Starzoner: from what I see you are a user who likes conflicts, next time avoid writing with capital letters because that way of writing is equivalent to shouting. You are not friendly at all, sooner or later your behavior will be reported to an administrator. Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 14:09, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
shouldn't have engaged in actions that only brings conflict. First is talking behind my back and asking other admins to mete out punishment when its not, and second is to restore comments and revert edits on my talk page without actually bothering to do stuff. Shallow stuff. Those two instances are the only times I have interacted with you, and even the time I have even heard of you. Can't blame me for being unfriendly when you are the one starting the edits. Starzoner (talk) 14:16, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Anya Taylor-Joy filmography

[edit]

I declined the speedy deletion of Anya Taylor-Joy filmography because Draft:Anya Taylor-Joy filmography is made up of unattributed copying from Anya Taylor-Joy so is not suitable as an article. Another user explained about copying within Wikipedia above. The content, even if attributed, entirely duplicates existing content in the bio so a separate article does not seem necessary. Ways to improve What Do We See When We Look at the Sky?

[edit]

Hello, Bruno Rene Vargas,

Thank you for creating What Do We See When We Look at the Sky?.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

I was happy to see that you added an article about the upcoming movie "What Do We See When We Look At The Sky?". I hope you will add more material to the article when the film has been released.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|PopePompus}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Rat (novella) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://droidjournal.com/if-it-bleeds-yields-3-different-movies/16337. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I need help to create the article "Canal Habana" for Wikipedia in English

[edit]

There seems to be a problema with your login session; this action has been cancelled as a precaution against session hijacking. Please resubmit the form. Te agradecería mucho si me pudieras ayudar. De antemano, muchas gracias. ¡Saludos desde Cuba! Film draft creations

[edit]

I’d ask if you’re going to start a film draft, please actually put in information about the film as opposed to just putting just a source in it. It feels more like one rushing to go “first” than an effort to develop an article not ready for mainspace yet. Rusted AutoParts 17:42, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Rusted AutoParts the truth is that whenever I start a draft I do the same process and minutes or sometimes hours later I always extend my drafts. I do it because I have passed from writing a draft and when I want to publish it I find myself surprised that someone else has already done it. I also appreciate the recommendation. Greetings. Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 18:04, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
But that bleeds back into my point about it feeling more like wanting to be first. It’s not very fair to others wishing to make those drafts when you basically just placeholder the draft location until you feel ready to make it. So I’ll please ask if you are creating a draft make it right then and there. No more placeholding. Rusted AutoParts 16:09, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Rusted AutoParts it seems a bit hypocritical of you to claim that from me when you do the same and even worse, because I at least put the template "in use". It can be seen that you do practically the same thing that you claim to me here, here, here, here and here. And there is nothing wrong with it, the bad thing is that you are the one who comes to reproach me for that. Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 16:27, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You can easily see in the edit history I immediately build on the article, I don’t just sit on the location until I feel like making it. Here’s the example you used of Antlers 9 minutes later. Ammonite 10 minutes later. I don’t just sit on these either I save my edits repeatedly as a means to avoid potential edit conflicts (it’s happened to me so much). I like making these drafts as a means to decompress my stress, and it is irritating to not just see it created (I can live with that) but to see it just essentially be “reserved” with just the source there to confirm it’s existence. Could I just build on the draft? Yes but frankly I don’t wish to because why put the effort in that’s not being put in by the one who created the draft originally? Rusted AutoParts 16:42, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'll have to agree with Rusted AutoParts, it's best to expand the draft once you make it instead of reserving it for later. I also like making draft articles, especially if they have the potential to become amazing articles in the future, but seeing the "in-use" template and a raw link sometimes makes me, along with some editors, lose motivation and even the interest in working on expanding those articles. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 17:09, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Some Dude From North Carolina and Rusted AutoParts I still do not understand the claim of both. Both years ago they have been creating articles most of the time following the same strategy and they come to reproach my actions. Starzoner has a long list that I will put below and in most cases it does not even have any reference or leaves them without adding anything at all and you do not say anything to him, both come to say things to me being I who at least makes an effort to write an introduction and reference my drafts. I honestly don’t know what you’re trying to point out here. Yes Starzoner seems to do similarly and they do it in a way I criticized them for in the past but right now I’m addressing my issues with your practice. My problem is simply the placeholding. You clearly do work on them but I do not like the placeholding. And like I said even though I’ve started drafts with just an infobox I do immediately build upon it, not leave it for several hours. That’s what I’m saying. Rusted AutoParts 17:37, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I also always try to do it as fast as possible but I also work and sometimes I don't have the time to edit so fast. Most of the time it does not take more than 10 or 20 minutes until I extend them again. Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 17:40, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Okay you’re still placeholding. How do you work AND create a draft article simultaneously? Like it’s created by you seemingly seconds after it’s announced in the trades. I’m about to hit create and I get edit conflicted because it’s been once again placeheld. It’s completely frustrating. Rusted AutoParts 17:19, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Rusted AutoParts the truth is that a few days ago I was fired from work and that is why now I have more time to edit on Wikipedia. Now it turns out that despite putting in an effort to quickly extend my drafts, you still get angry and go to my talk page. Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 17:38, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Because like I said it’s frustrating to get edit conflicted and see that the reason you’re conflicted is it was already created in a frankly lazy fashion with no immediate edit follow up for like 10 minutes. You are effectively stomping out the ability for anyone else to participate. Rusted AutoParts 17:44, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

To start, I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to offend you or put the entire blame on you. Rusted AutoParts and Starzoner are also guilty of this, as are many other editors, but it doesn't make it right. Don't try being "first" by rushing and creating a draft without content (if someone made it before you [with content], shake it off). Furthermore, if you do make a content-less draft, please try your best to expand it right then and there instead of "reserving" it for later. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 17:40, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Just stop. Please. Starzoner (talk) 18:03, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My dude, why are you mining through my edit histories for any sort of thing to whatabout? I wasn’t the one to bring up your block history, I was merely asking if it was potentially an evasion. That’s it. I was told no, it was dropped (by myself anyway). Yes, I was grossly unprofessional in 2012, nine years ago when I was a teenager, and yes I won’t pretend there haven’t been flair ups of similar hot headedness, but it’s just not relevant to my issue with you. I’m asking you to just not create lazy drafts, that’s it. It’s frustrating to place a lot of time and effort into creating something that gets edit conflicted and you see that it’s a result of it being created with much less info and just a source. It’s annoying. I really don’t understand why you see this as some sort of assassination attempt of your character or some conspiracy to lash out at you. It’s not, it’s just a plea from an irritated fellow editor to just be better with your draft creation. Just stop the placeholding, I’ve asked this multiple times now and all I get in response is more and more whataboutism and my edit history thrown back at me. Rusted AutoParts 05:23, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well the facts speak for themselves, here and here it can clearly be seen that both you and Starzoner were the ones who first started looking at my blocks histories. Also, why should I follow the advice of someone who does the same thing as me? So what you want is for me to write the drafts with more content so that you can publish them? Once again I tell you, if you want to give advice, then start by setting an example and stop following the procedure that you have been implementing for years. Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 05:49, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I literally already explained I just asked ONE question about your block. If you want to be bitter about it being brought up, do so towards Starzoner, I literally inquired once. And I don’t do the same thing as you. I don’t slapdash a source in place then wait some time before updating, I constantly update the draft within minutes of creation. You seem completely disinterested in addressing the core problem I’m raising and just keep dragging on and on with this garbage whataboutism. I’m at the point where I’m just going to create a rival draft and redirect yours to the ones I create because I would at least know the quality and the work will be put in. Just stop placeholding, stop going whatabout? and stop with the victim complex. This whole thing has become needless ridiculous. Rusted AutoParts 05:55, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ridiculous is what you just told me, you are willing to create an unnecessary war as long as you are the one who appears as the creator of the articles. Your comment will remain as evidence in case the intervention of an administrator is necessary. Again I invited you to report to an administrator if I am violating any Wikipedia policy. Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 06:22, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I made that remark from great frustration. I don’t know if you’re being obtuse or just don’t understand what I’m trying to get across to you. I wouldn’t know why an administrator would be necessary, this was always meant to be a simple courtesy request, one that had been bolstered by two other editors and it’s spiraled way out of control. I’m not sure why Starzoner brought up administrators in the first place but that is not the route I’m going. We need to nip this in the bud so I’ll just ask for a simple yes/no answer. Would you please stop creating drafts the way you have been doing, and to a much lesser extent please let other editors participate in the draft creation? Whatever answer you give will be the end of this whole thing from my end regardless because we all need to collectively move on. Rusted AutoParts 07:02, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Rusted AutoParts here. Seriously, you dug through 8.5 years worth of edits just to find that comment? Please address the issue in front of us; it is about your creation of pages instantly after they get published with only a placeholder. Just try to add more content, or just simply stop. Can you do that? Yes or no. And ofc, we'll just move on. Starzoner (talk) 14:11, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Okay that isn’t the core issue, at least not for me. It’s not Bruno is creating drafts it’s the lazy way they do it. Rusted AutoParts 16:24, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That’s a fair point. My issue hasn’t been resolved. It is the unnecessary personal animosity as seen in recent events, such as going to admin’s noticeboard 2x and failing both times, calling my edits sabotage strategies aimed at robbing him of creation edits despite being told by admin to stop worrying so much about it, edit warring, repeated threads of reporting to admins in order to get desired action, and the insanely vigilant need to pump out creation of pages just when it hits the news. Like come on man. There is absolutely no reason, much less competition for the 1st edit, to instantly create the page as there is no WP:DEADLINE and there is no created when the news say it is.

There is so much to unpack here, but I won’t waste my breath saying anything here. Simply put, I want the issues resolved, and put in history.
