Your use of examples in order to explain this topic makes this piece so much more digestible! I think there were only a couple of sentences that felt incomplete: “Fungi are a major group[…]”, “Movement brings cell[…]”. I also think that you could expand on how osmotrophy differs from other cellular feeding mechanisms and the advantage that photoautotrophs have (maybe in the form of links if you feel like it's not entirely relevant to your article).
