Speedy deletion nomination of Ruslan Ardashev
[edit]A tag has been placed on Ruslan Ardashev requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ♪ ♫ Wifione ♫ ♪ ―Œ ♣Łeave Ξ мessage♣ 15:27, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Dear Ardashev, the article above was deleted by one of our administrators. Actually, only those biographies are allowed to be on Wikipedia, that qualify as being notable. The term notable is quite a confusing term for new editors on Wikipedia. But if I can give you a summary, it would mean that only such people who have had a significant number of newspapers and media reporting on them, would qualify for an article on Wikipedia. Now the catch is that it's not just the "number" of newspapers and media but even the quality of such sources -- that's why we consolidate the meaning in the term called "reliable sources". Let's say not many reliable sources have reported on you, but you've won some awards, or invented something damn cool (the HTC Leopard, for example) and let's assume even a handful of reliable sources confirm that you have invented that stuff. Then chances are, that you will have an article on Wikipedia. So what do we do from here? I would request you to use the following action plan:
- Read a few important articles on Wikipedia-> WP:Notability, WP:BIO, WP:BLP, WP:Verifiablity, WP:Reliable sources, Neutral point of view, and finally Conflict of interest.
- Contact me with evidence of reliable sources having written about Ruslan Ardashev. If you have even one piece of a reliable source, show it to me and I'll guide you.
- If I'm satisfied Ruslan Ardashev is notable, don't worry, I'll recreate the article. But if I'm not satisfied, I'll give you the exact details.
Please note that if you wish to contact me, then like you did the previous time, kindly leave a note on my talk page. We're here to assist you and you should feel free to contact me or any other editor for help. Warm regards. ♪ ♫ Wifione ♫ ♪ ―Œ ♣Łeave Ξ мessage♣ 15:02, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
