You do not have to say anything unless you wish to do so, but I must warn you that if you fail to mention any fact which you rely on in your defence in court, your failure to take this opportunity to mention it may be treated in court as supporting any relevant evidence against you. If you do wish to say anything, what you say may be given in evidence.

Guys, interwiki errors are due to bugs in Pywikipedia for all interwiki bots..see:

Your bot just added an Arabic interwiki to Rootstown Township, Portage County, Ohio. Since I don't even know the Arabic alphabet, of course I can't know whether the Arabic page is accurate. However, the Arabic page is in a category with an interwiki link to Category:Cities in Ohio. Just wanted to let you know: a township isn't a city. Ohio, which is analogous to an Egyptian governorate, is divided into counties, each of which is analogous to an Egyptian region. Each county, in turn, is divided into townships, which are analogous to Egyptian villages. I hope this is helpful; please pardon me if you already knew this. Error in interwiki behaviour

[edit]

Hi, I have an error to report from the AlnoktaBOT. I noticed this on a template page with a template doc subpage (see WP:DOC). The {{Infobox software}} page uses a doc subpage to store the documentation, categories and interwikis. However, your bot added the same interwikis to the template page here or diff. These, I had to merge to ensure they were the same, and that is only one list of interwikis. +mt 16:14, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

is there a way to stop interwiki bots from touching an article? They keep adding false interwikis to Chaldean Christians due to incorrect interwiki links on other wikis (confusing Chaldean Christians and Chaldees). --dab (𒁳) 17:12, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Cairo seal.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Cairo seal.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. I need help renaming about 200 articles. Doing this by hand would take me all day.

Can your bot rename articles, or be adapted to do so?

If so, please contact me.

Thank you.

Thank you for uploading images/media to Wikipedia! There is, however, another Wikimedia Foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In future, please upload media there instead (see m:Help:Unified login). That way, all of the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons (you may view images you have previously uploaded by going to your user contributions on the left and choosing the 'image' namespace from the drop down box). Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading!--OsamaK 22:39, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the welcome on ar.

Thank you for the welcome here. Since I have a global user account, if I happen to go to one that I haven't been to before, I get a new account started. I am sure that the message is wonderful, however, I can't read it since I don't know the language, though it is very pretty to look at, and I wish I could read it. I was going to leave you a message there, however, I am not sure how to change the orientation from rtl to ltr.

Again, thank you. LA (If you reply here, please leave me a {{Talkback}} message on my talk page.) @ 00:52, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of EYHRN

[edit]

A tag has been placed on EYHRN requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Bongomatic 02:35, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Jessie Castillo for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Jessie Castillo is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jessie Castillo (2nd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
