Speedy deletion nomination of User talk:IMuazzam
[edit]A tag has been placed on User talk:IMuazzam requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. [edit]I hope that you as a perennial users with good reputation would have a greater chance for successful completion substafd process and permanently delete a page than I. Only my request that you personally write a comment for deletion and do not write that I'm suggesting that you do anything. I remind you that I urge you to personally put a comment for deletion and there is absolutely no mention of my account. I hope you set up a page on the discussion to delete because of this my remarks. The reason for deleting this and feel free to copy it as a comment. Tornik is part of Zlatibor mountain and not any particular part. There are peaks such as Čigota, small Tornik,Ljuljaš,Tornik...Height top of Tornik not 1502 meters and it is one of the reasons why the page is applied to erase. Height Tornik is not over 2000 meters and it is the norm of high peaks that are supposed to have their own page in relation to the mountains where they are located. In the case of Serbian mountains, all the peaks over 2,000 meters have their own special pages such as Pogled,Pančić's Peak,,Midžor...Tornik is much lower and it is not necessary to allocate a special page of the page Zlatibor. I have therefore submitted an application for deleting pages Tornik. I hope I have your support in deleting unnecessary and redundant pages Tornik. Simply existent page Zlatibor that mentions enhancing the offer is enough. Ok? Randysokofelet (talk) 21:07, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for your explanation. I am unaware of any requirement or rule that states that mountain peaks under 2,000 meters are non-notable. Tornik (peak) is a recognized geographic feature, and as such is probably an encyclopedic topic. See WP:NGEO. I'm rather curious as to why you don't want your name associated with this request. When considering an AfD, weight is placed on the strength of the arguments, not on the number of edits of the person making the argument. There's no punishment for being "wrong" on an AfD, unless it becomes obvious that an editor is nominating numerous articles for deletion merely to create drama. Hope that helps. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 22:22, 6 January 2016 (UTC)

[edit]If I did a page like this but for another company with the same amount of links etc - would it be accepted -- https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/TeamSport_Go_Karting I don't want to go through the work of creating it and you deleting it? Regards Nigel unsigned comment from user:Nigec2v
- Hi Nigec2v. Thank you for writing. First, when communicating on talk pages, please use four tildes ("~~~~") which signs and dates your comments. I can't precisely answer your question. I reverted a number of your edits because you added commercial links to articles (such as the driveway gates to the gates article.) Please see our external links guideline. This is an encyclopedia, not a directory or a place to put out advertising. Your addition of external links were all commercial, but they did appear to promote a rather wide variety of commercial interests, so I'll take it on good faith that you aren't trying to promote a particular company. May I recommend you read two things before you write this article? First, Wikipedia:Your first article is a great place to start. Then please read our reliable sources policy. Yes, they are long and possibly overwhelming, but understanding these will save you a lot of grief in the long run. If there is something that confuses you, please feel free to contact me again and I'll do my best to explain it, I was once a new editor who made a lot of mistakes, and I am still learning things. I hope that helps. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 17:37, 7 January 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive behaviour. Your behaviour is verging on harassment. Wikipedia prides itself on providing a safe environment for its collaborators, and harassing other users, as you did on Draft:Operaphone Records, potentially compromises that safe environment. If you continue behaving like this, you may be blocked from editing. Kindly stay away from 78.26, who's a fine admin. Drmies (talk) 21:31, 7 January 2016 (UTC)

Speedy Deletion of YottaSolutions
[edit]Dear 78.26, First of all, I have no idea why would you delete an article of a company that "does" show an importance and value to be in Wikipedia. I can guarantee you that more than 10 if not most of the web design companies here in Wikipedia are less value than Yotta Solutions to be in this encyclopedia. I am not related to the company in any way and I don't know any connections there, but I can't see a famous and popular company in my country getting that kind of treatment. I joined Wikipedia and I was so confident and sure about the acceptance of my first article, knowing that 5 university IT teachers worked on writing this article and getting it summed up with no complications or non-valuable information. I believe the company deserves to be in this website, and please read it again and check its website and you will surely change your mind. Thank you very much. Smith7700 (talk)
- Hello Smith7700, thank you for writing. There are several issues with the article. First, there's a lot of articles on Wikipedia that shouldn't be here. We have an essay on this, called Wikipedia:Other stuff exists. In addition, your article is poorly sourced, the references are to the companies own web presence, or to various "wikis" which are not reliable sources. Additionally, the article is highly promotional in tone. "became known" "assisted" "provided the opportunity". None of these are sourced to an independent, reliable source. Every paragraph is not written in a neutral, dispassionate manner, but is written in a way which shows the company in a positive light. Writing an article on Wikipedia can be a steep learning curve. If you have reliable sources that show this company is indeed notable, I'll be happy to help you integrate them into the article and keep it from being deleted. All the best, 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 20:05, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for answering 78.26, I understand your point but the problem is that I am not a native English speaker and I always wanted someone to change some of the words in the article to make it better and to rescue it from getting deleted. Would you consider helping me in editing it and rescuing it from getting deleted? Those words you pointed at can be edited and I can add more facts about the company. I have a very valuable source I found on Google today, which is that the company is the winner of Best Growing IT Company 2016 by Hands Global. Will be waiting for your response. Thanks. UPDATE: I have seen a comment on my draft that you have salted my article, please remove this because I had no idea about it.Smith7700 (talk) 15:03, 26 January 2016 (UTC)

Yuvan Jan 26
[edit]I updated that yuvan had planned to perform Live concert in Coimbatore. It was true.May i know why it was removed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ravishankar1992 (talk • contribs) 17:55, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hello Ravishankar1992. There are three reasons I undid your good faith edit. First, it was an unsourced edit. An important part of Wikipedia is that we can verify that a statement is true, so a reader can check out the facts for themselves. Second, a cancelled concert does not seem to be noteworthy. "Cancelled for unknown reasons" seems a bit negative, and since this is a living person we are discussing, the Biographies of Living Persons standard applies. Third, even if the concert wasn't cancelled, a given concert doesn't seem important to his overall career, making it trivia. If this concert was to affect his overall career in some way, then it would be encyclopedic knowledge. Since a big part of what most musical artists do is give concerts, why is this particular event noteworthy? I hope that helps, and I hope you continue to edit here. You're constructive participation is most welcome! 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 05:42, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
Thank You !
[edit]Thank You for helping me out Sir. I am a novice and just now started to edit. Just have couple of doubts. Are you the owner of this Yuvan page? or how were you notified about my edit? May i know the benefit for you for keeping this page updated without any flaw. Your response would be much appreciated.
Ravishankar1992 (talk) 09:26, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Ravishankar1992. No, I'm not the owner of that page. No one owns any pages in Wikipedia, this is a collaborative project, and anyone can edit. There are several ways you can be notified about changes. When you are logged in, you should see a "watchlist" link at the top right of Wikipedia. You can go to "Preferences" and change settings, but generally any page you edit can be added to your "watchlist", and if a page is on your watchlist you will be told when someone has made a change to it. I might have found this edit by looking at "recent changes", which is found in the left column under the wikipedia logo. This will show you the most recent changes that have been made to Wikipedia, regardless of page. I sometimes check this area to "patrol" it, because unfortunately some editors modify changes which don't help the encyclopedia, and they damage it out of curiosity, boredom, or viciousness. The benefit to me is that I read this encyclopedia, and I want to make it better for others as well. I hope that helps. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 18:41, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
Deleted article request
[edit]Hi 78.26! How would you like to try out some new Admin skills?! – I'd like to request a look at the deleted article for Laurie Fortier. It was deleted back in 2010, basically for WP:BLPPROD, but I think there may be enough to this particular one that it might pass WP:NACTOR if I put some work into it. Anwway, I'm asking you because the Admin that did the deletion at the time hasn't been active since 2010, and... well, basically I thought I'd ask you! Complaint from user 85.72.212.188
[edit]Fool.Why did you do that?
I would like to explain something about the page The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. What's the point the existence of wikitable in this Content called Accolades; This wikitable says the wins and nominations of the third Hobbit film. What is the reason of the existence of this wikitable in the page The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies; There is a special page (this page is a wikitable generally) about the Accolades of the entire Hobbit film trilogy named List of accolades received by The Hobbit film series. Also, there is no wikitable about the wins and nominations OF the two previous Hobbit films in both pages, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. There is no reason the existence of wikitable about the wins and nominations of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies in the specific page. That is why I removed it.I have already talked about it to User:Mlpearc and User SummerPhDv2.0.You can check it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.72.212.188 (talk) 18:33, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
- Fool nor not (and please be aware of WP:NPA), I did that because 1.you continued your course of action despite repeated requests to stop, and 2. you did not offer any explanation. When material seems to be removed randomly and repeatedly, it looks like vandalism, and even if the reason is valid, continuing a course of action, without responding to the concerns of other editors, is disruptive. 3. I "did that" (and I presume you mean blocked you temporarily) at the request of another editor who also viewed your actions as disruptive. Now that you are communicating, perhaps some collaborative editing can occur. If you find yourself being reverted several times, please use the talk page of the article you wish to modify, and provide an explanation as you did above. Then you (collectively) can come to a consensus about the proposed edits. Also, please use an edit summary as suggested by User:SummerPhDv2.0, it would truly help other editors understand what you are trying to accomplish. I hope this is helpful. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 18:51, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
In case you don't know, I already gave an edit summary about the editings in the page The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.Look it here [1].The edit summary is this one: I removed the wikitable about the wins and nominations of the third Hobbit film because there is a Special page about it.) Ellen White
[edit]The thing is that it wouldn't be obvious to most users why, of all the hundreds of people listed in List of vegetarians, Ellen White was somehow the only one who warranted being singled out for inclusion in a category that the rest of them didn't belong in. Had she invented the concept, there might be a case for her inclusion — but there's not really much evidence that she occupies some special sphere of notability, which would make her uniquely more central to the concept category than anybody else who's ever written about or advocated vegetarianism. Once you move out of "the Seventh Day Adventist community" and into "the general public" instead, there are a few dozen people who could legitimately claim to have as much or more prominence for being vegetarians as she does. And not even all real people, either — I also had to remove Lisa Simpson from the category at the same time (and no, I don't mean some disambiguated Lisa Simpson, I really do mean the cartoon character herself.) Please help
[edit]Hello 78.26! Thank you for the opportunity that through the Teahouse I can write to you. I am working now on a 6 years old article that was not properly sourced, and thou I am very new here, I still found more than 40 new sources that I have already built in. However, I have almost no one who would control what I am doing. May I kindly ask you just to take a glance to the article and let me know your thoughts? https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Zolt%C3%A1n_Deme and https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Zolt%C3%A1n_Deme My other problem is that this tag "Find sources: "Zoltán Deme" – news · newspapers · books · scholar · JSTOR · free images" proved to be useless for reaching the sources of the 1960-1980 decades, especially the sources of the past communist countries in East Europe where most of the libraries very poorly digitized. For example "Scholar" gives 1 citation, though just with 10 minutes research I got immediately 20 citations! 3 page 65 4 p.2 5 p.23 6 p.1 7 p.289 8 p.5 9 p.2 10 p.353 11 p.35 12 p.1 13 p.46 14 p.75 15 p.63 16 p.84 17 p.64 18 p.1 19 p.48 20 p.317 21 p.196 22 p.101. (Plus I got many items, as "required reading" in the universities, like 23 p.1 24 p.1 25 p.48 26 and so on). For other example, Books, Google Books gives 3 items, while this site (and others) show the pictures and data of more than 20 items! 27 28 29 This misleads almost everyone, presents the subject non-notable with only one citation and three books, thus, I had to go over this problem and collect printed material. Would you kindly investigate the improved article, is my work now sufficient? I saw your contributions, so any advice or any proposal I would accept from you! Thank you for reading this message, with hope and kind regards, Norbert. 89.133.187.29 (talk) 12:09, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hello 89.133.187.29. I've spent a bit of time looking over the article and the AfD discussion. I think there are two things that would help immediately. First, I think the article reads as too promotional toward the subject. To a certain extent, I think this is a translation problem. If I'm not mistaken, much of the prose of this article was not written by a native English speaker. For instance, the very first words in the body are "First, less than 16, he wrote". I think what is meant is "Before he reached the age of 16, he wrote...". Phrases such as "this made him reputable in the scientific world", " made him country-wide known again" are red flags to experienced editors. These are phrases like "he is well-known for" and "famous for", which are often used by new editors trying to establish WP:N for a topic that is usually non-notable.
- When I look at the sourcing, I am confused. For instance, take source 19, which reads as "Király p. 4.". When I see that, I think "Great! A cited book! This will be easy to establish notability" and then I look for a Bibliography section. But there is no bibliography section. There is just a link to the Hungarian Wikipedia page on Király István. Are you trying to reference a book by Király? If so, please use Template:Cite book. That would help in a lot of cases, if true. I hope that helps. Perhaps this wasn't the most clever thing I've ever done, and I would have no problem if any given admin extended the block. [edit]That's it, the first round is done, sign-ups are closed and we're into round 2. Forty-seven competitors move into this round (a bit shy of the expected 64), and we are roughly broken into eight groups of six. The top two of each group will go through to round 3, and then the top scoring 16 "wildcards" across all groups.
Twenty-two Good Articles were submitted, including three by Cyclonebiskit (submissions), and two each by MPJ-DK (submissions), Hurricanehink (submissions), 12george1 (submissions), and Cas Liber (submissions). Twenty-one Featured Pictures were claimed, including 17 by Adam Cuerden (submissions) (the Round 1 high scorer). Thirty-one contestants saw their DYKs appear on the main page, with a commanding lead (28) by Cwmhiraeth (submissions). Twenty-nine participants conducted GA reviews with J Milburn (submissions) completing nine.

Life of Girls
[edit]Fair question. My justification was that with such a sketchy set of details - no channel listed, no dates, nothing turning up when I google the claimed makers - it seems very unlikely to not be a hoax. I googled most of the cast and crew members and found nothing. Not in English, not in Croatian, not in Polish. No TV listings, no fansites, no details at all. Sure, the name of the show might be a translation, but not the actresses involved. (Incidentally, in the infobox it says it’s broadcast in English and one of the claimed makers has the very non-Slavic name of "Dora Emma Hope".) I suppose it's possible it's real, but I really doubt it. (You're going to show me it is and make me look stupid now, I'm sure.) I do care about WP:BITE and WP:AGF, but if you can’t find any evidence something’s real….? And something as notable as a TV series? (Oh yes, and also the claimed theme tune composer is a smartphone app.)
This may be a guess, but my suspicion is that - if this isn't totally out of someone's imagination - this was made up by a bunch of schoolkids imagining themselves appearing in a TV sitcom. I have seen situations like that before - where an editor who says they’re thirteen on their profile creates a page for a company they run in their daydreams or something like that. Yes, that's obviously a bit hard to reconcile with the English name, but maybe they're from a Slavic country and decided to add a vaguely Anglo-sounding name. (Their username - Kayla.Hart - sounds American and from googling may be a reference to Chuck.) Or it's a group of kids of Slavic ancestry in an English-speaking country with some English-named friend. But to be honest I don't really care - no evidence it's real. Does that sound reasonable? "Black Tuesday" to "Black Thursday" change
[edit]Hi 78.26,
I'm pretty sure that the day is not correct, because the 24th of October of 1929, was a Thursday, not a Tuesday. You can also check it on any other online source, or even in Wikipedia.org in spanish (for example): https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jueves_Negro
A history.com article: http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/stock-market-crashes
A calendar: http://www.thepeoplehistory.com/calendars/1929-calendar.png
A photo of the newspaper: http://america.pink/images/4/7/2/3/3/5/6/en/3-wall-street-crash-1929.jpg
It's true that on other sources puts that it was on Tuesday:https://wecanshootyou.files.wordpress.com/2008/10/black_tuesday_22.jpg
But I suppose they're wrong...
Check it out, regards
Me — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.25.42.22 (talk) 21:10, 8 March 2016 (UTC)
- Every one of these sources list Tuesday, not Thursday. If the 24th was Thursday, then the 29th was Tuesday. Check a 1929 calendar, October 29, 1929 was a Tuesday. I have no idea what argument you're trying to make, because every source you've listed disproves your point. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 21:35, 8 March 2016 (UTC)
Ohh what a dummy!!! I misunderstood the days, because there are two different days: the 24th and the 29th, and I thought there was only one, and that one was the Thursday... Excuse me for my confusion, and thanks for helping me, because I've got a history exam tomorrow about this, so... I might have to revise the concepts a little bit more.
Excuse me from wasting your time, I feel so sorry...
Warmest regards, Xavi — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.25.42.22 (talk) 22:09, 8 March 2016 (UTC)
- Glad you've figured it out. Yes, there was a stock market crash on the 24th, but it was dwarfed by another crash 5 days later, in the 29th. Good luck on your history exam! 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 22:11, 8 March 2016 (UTC)

Hello. Thanks for your attention to my AfC submission. The "Associated Publications" were meant to be a set of publications that resulted from activities at the swamp. These focused largely on two basic areas: 1) Education (of school-age children mostly); and 2) Research done at the swamp largely as a result of the Bird Monitoring Project and various research projects undertaken by the LSU school of renewable resources. These should be worked into the article a bit more seamlessly, but the original intention was to show that the park was being used as a base for both active research and educational programs and to mention the publications resulting from those activities. I am trying to expand the article so that it does not seem so amateurish at the moment, but this is my first real article, so I do apologize for any lingering awkwardness in the way that I have presented the material. I am trying to fix this now. Again, thanks for your kind attention. H.dryad (talk) 17:26, 16 March 2016 (UTC)

Ricegum
[edit]Hello! :) Why not speedy Ricegum? I don't see a single ref out there. Best, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 04:59, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Anna Frodesiak, thanks for writing. You're right, there's no references, which is why I gave it a BLP Prod. However, the article does make a credible claim of notability, namely that he has 1 million subscribers. I went to verify the claim, and lo and behold he does have the number of subscribers claimed, which is no mean feat. So, I figured giving it a week to come up with some sources was the most appropriate action to take. I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time! All the best, 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 05:04, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- Fair enough, my friend. I don't know much about Youtube and whether or not 1 million hits is good. If that is good then maybe there are some sources somewhere. Best, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 05:09, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- 1 million subscribers to a channel is certainly significant on YouTube (I've been on YouTube for 6 years, and have a little over 100 subscribers, if it gives any indication) By comparison, one of the most famous YouTube channels (Rhett & Link) have 4 million. It means there is indeed a decent likelihood that there are some sources, but I'll admit the topic doesn't interest me enough to look for them. If there are no ≥sources, the article will be deleted. I fully expected the article to be a hoax, I was a bit surprised it checked out, so maybe that made me extra generous or something. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 05:28, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- Something of interest to add is that it seems RiceGum has been salted and created multiple times, I was considering a speedy also, but 1M subscribers isn't something to sneeze at (If that is true that is) Wgolf (talk) 05:31, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

Hello 78.26, I was curious as to what would give my article more encyclopedic notability? I have noticed in other similar pages for private equity firms that they are linking out most factual statements to different sources. Would something like that help further this article to possibly be accepted? Let me know.
Thank you Crestone1050 (talk) 20:11, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Crestone1050, thanks for writing, you're on the right track. I've got a lot of Wikipedia policies for you to read. They're long, and tedious, but if you can grasp the concepts behind them, you'll find your time here a lot more enjoyable. First, have a look at our notability policy. Of particular interest to you will be Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies). Wikipedia:Your first article will also be of help, I believe. If you're having trouble adding the sources, try referencing for beginners. I hope that is helpful. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 02:30, 3 May 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hi 78.26, long time, no talk - you're good? For replying to redirect requests at WP:AFC/R, PhantomTech's AFCR Helper Script is a timesaver. Install it by adding the following to your common.js:
save and refresh. A "Respond" will appear in the mw-editsection area when on AFC/R. Doesn't handle category requests, but otherwise makes it a breeze. Regards, Sam Sailor Talk! 17:52, 10 May 2016 (UTC)
- @Sam Sailor: thanks! Since I don't spend a lot of time at AFC/R (and not being a "tech" guy), I didn't know about this script. It will come in handy. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 20:49, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
- This will be even better: Soon after I posted the above, I discovered that the beta version of Yet Another Articles for Creation Helper Script will do redirect requests and do category requests. If you already have Yet Another Articles for Creation Helper Script activated as a gadget, it needs to be disable: Preferences → Gadgets → Editing → Yet Another AFC Helper Script. Then install the beta version by adding the following to your common.js:

, save and refresh. If you are using the vector skin, the script is located in the drop-down menu More as Review. Regards, Sam Sailor Talk! 20:52, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

Zepard
[edit]Hello, I noticed you deleted the page Zepard per A7. Could you post what its content was here? I plan to add it to WP:DAFT. Thanks. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 09:24, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
- Alright, but I'm going to only leave it here for a short time, and then revdelete my edit per WP:DENY. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 15:24, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
- The Zepard.
- A Zepard is a hybrid. It is most commonly found in the way off plains of East Africa. It is half zebra, half leopard. It is an omnivore, which means it eats anything from plants, nuts, and berries, to the meat of other animals. For some reason unknown, it preys on one of the animals it was made from - a zebra. A zebra is its favorite animal, but it tends to stay away from leopards. It is very territorial, and so it doesn't stay in any packs. If it mates, which it almost never does, it kicks out all of the males and the mother after the kits are born. Then, it takes care of the female kits by pairing them off to other Zepard kits and taking control of all of the females. This is how the Zepard works.

- What a mess. The sources you're adding aren't independent, a facebook post from "Johnny" should not be used to support the relationship between Johnny and the band. This should be full protected perhaps, but I must warn you I would revert to a version you wouldn't prefer. You need an independent, reliable source to support your assertions. Does any site such as Allmusic show Johnny Droid as an official member, and not merely someone who performed with them in the past? 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 15:41, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
The top iTunes album release reference should be enough to represent Johnny Droid / Johnny Chavez as an official member of The Medic Droid since he’s listed on all of the songs on the album. There are thousands upon thousands of pictures with him featured in the band in 2007 including YouTube videos. It’s really scary how someone can try and rewrite this bands early history & could actually get away with it for a while. Any version will be ok just as long as Johnny Droid / Johnny Chavez is not removed. This wiki page was just fine until those random IP’s showed up back in March 2016. I tried to help with some citations, but I fully understand they’re not independent if they’re just words on Facebook but the YouTube The Medic Droid update videos clearly show he was in the band along with countless live performances. This is all I could find aside from hundreds of music pages using Wikipedia as their cut copy & paste reference point for the past decade which ALL include Johnny Droid / Johnny Chavez as a past member of the band and include the same similar bio of how it looks like right now, where he left to and so on, (S3RL, R0bots and all.) Anyway let me know. Hope this helps! Thanks!

Merci beaucoup! 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 15:43, 22 May 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for the kind words, and I'm glad you enjoyed the article. I hope you will forgive my horrible attempt at the French language. I likewise enjoyed the French article. In fact, there are a couple of items that I'd like to include in the English article, but I wasn't able to find sources for them. Do you have a source that states he married an English wife while in England. Does the source give her name? Also, I wasn't able to directly find that Musard introduced the cancan, it was only alluded to. Do you have a source that makes this statement definitively? Many thanks! 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 15:43, 22 May 2016 (UTC)

- I prefer to let another reviewer look at an AfC resubmission, but I did look over the submission and I still don't think you have established notability. The references are directory listings (utah.gov, for instance) which do not provide in-depth coverage, PR pieces (India CIO) which are not independent, or pieces written by the company or it's officers. I don't see any reliable, independent sources that provide in-depth coverage of the topic. I hope that helps. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 14:59, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
DYK for Philippe Musard
[edit]On 2 June 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Philippe Musard, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that central to Philippe Musard's 1832 concerts was a "lascivious spectacle"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Philippe Musard. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Philippe Musard), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Removal of citations/verification box
[edit]Hello there. Can you remove or give me more advice on the removal of the citations/verification box at the top this page I've been updating https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Luis_de_Miranda. There are now plenty of third-party examples of this person's published work and public profile. Thanks in advance. - I'll look into it tonight. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 17:33, 9 June 2016 (UTC)
- Most of the references are not independent of the subject, they are from his schools, or articles written by the subject. I think for now that box requesting more citations is appropriate. It doesn't mean the article is about to be deleted, I think there's enough to prove the subject is notable, I just think more could and should be provided. I hope that helps. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 03:14, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
OK. Thanks for looking in to it for me. I'll try and add some independent citations in the near future. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hcbpress (talk • contribs) 16:01, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
Dear Reviewer,
I am looking to do a series of wiki submissions on the digital marketing agencies in Sri Lanka and my first one was on a company named eBEYONDS, which is one of the first digital agencies in the country. However during the review it has been marked as containing promotional content. Would it be possible to explain as to what parts of the content sounds promotional to you as I could avoid making the same mistake in my present and future submissions.
Thanks a lot for your time and help
Best regards
Sinji Sinjih (talk) 04:16, 21 June 2016 (UTC) Sinjih (talk) 04:16, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
- I'm not going to solve all the issues, but here are 2 places to start. First, if you take out the services offered, and the non-notable awards, you don't have much of an article left. Why is this company worthy of encyclopedic attention? The sources used appear to be very PR heavy, not serious news sources. Has the company received any attention from mainstream media, or an international trade publication that does not take PR submissions, or paid content? I hope that helps. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 04:51, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
Hi 78:26,
Thanks a lot for the advice. I was wondering whether my intention of creating Wikipedia encyclopedic pages for digital media agencies in Sri Lanka is a justifiable cause. Should I just create a stub for each company instead? So that it can be expanded by others in the future.
Sorry for showering you with questions,
regards - Sinj Sinjih (talk) 07:03, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
Sinjih (talk) 07:03, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
- Hello Sinjih. I would find a wikiproject, and ask experts on the subject. It's really not my specialty. I might suggest that you edit current articles first, so you can get a sense about which companies are notable, and which ones are not. I am certain that not every digital media agency in Sri Lanka is notable, but probably some of them are. Also, if you have a conflict of interest, please disclose it as soon as possible, it will make your long-term editing here go much better. [edit]Please unlock the page Jacob Sartorius so I can put in my draftDraft:Jacob Sartorius. - I will take a look at the claims this evening. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 20:28, 23 June 2016 (UTC)
- I will unlock the page, but you've GOT to find better sources first. Except for Billboard (which has absolutely nothing but his birth date), the sources used are gossip magazines, not serious news sources. I suggest using Articles for Creation. If you can get a reviewer to approve your article, I will unlock the page and move it myself. I would suggest more facts, and less fandom. I'm not trying to be unkind, but this is an encyclopedia, not a fansite, or a place to find the latest gossip. I hope that helps. All the best, 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 04:36, 24 June 2016 (UTC)
