Dear Sir:

Fake sentences! which I will restore... Accusations, threats, show of perceived force! I’m amazed!

The sources for these are attached to the versions I submitted, if only you took time to consult them.

Here are the two information you requested:

1) Germans switching side: https://books.google.com/books?id=jfq5Tp0nq98C&pg=PA369&lpg=PA369&dq=german+and+leclerc+and+dessalines&source=bl&ots=BMkkdWrJ9i&sig=ACfU3U2sqH31VrTRbNVPc7hyHR0oDgLfFg&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjWjM_lv-DuAhWOwFkKHRoDBUA4ChDoATAJegQICRAC#v=onepage&q=german%20and%20leclerc%20and%20dessalines&f=false

From: France and the Americas: Culture, History, and politics. Volume 1, page 369. Bill Marshall, Christina Johnston

If you make a Search with the words “Dessalines German” or “Allemands Dessalines” you will get plenty of sources too.

2) About Germans mixing with the Haitians

https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/United_States_occupation_of_Haiti

Under causes for the occupation, read the third and fourth paragraphs.

This fact is also mentioned in Haitian Literature, and the fact that some of the most influential Haitian families have German last names. (Mevs, Brandt, i.e.)

Regards WH
