User talk:119.82.97.6
Welcome
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
Here are some other hints and tips:
- I recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.
If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will try to answer your questions as best as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. — Mr. Stradivarius (drop me a line) 11:21, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
Cricketers
[edit]Hi there, and thank you for your contributions to articles on cricketers! I thought you should know that the template you are looking for is {{langx|hi}}. For example, the text "{{langx|hi|हरभजन सिंह}}" will produce this: Hindi: हरभजन सिंह. Also, please do not add more than one foreign language name to Wikipedia articles! If the person's name is Punjabi, then you should not add the Hindi name. You should only add Hindi language versions if the name itself is Hindi. Thank you! If you have any questions, please ask me on my talk page. All the best. — Mr. Stradivarius (drop me a line) 11:33, 1 April 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Ravichandran Ashwin. There is a Manual of Style, edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Please only add native-language names to articles. Thank you. — Mr. Stradivarius (drop me a line) 12:13, 1 April 2011 (UTC)

If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. 4twenty42o (talk) 07:57, 21 June 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to World Trade Organization has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Saryupareen Brahmins has been reverted.
Your edit here to Saryupareen Brahmins was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page.
