Hi, |
|||
First time user. Just started today. But I think I've referenced and categorized the article. |
|||
I found a page which says I need to dePROD the article by removing the PROD tag in the article. But I don't seem to find it. Is it already solved? Or is the deadline still ticking? Please help. |

== DJ Scorpio: World No.2 Hardcore-Techno DJ from Torquay == |
|||
In that case you might as well delete every famous DJ/Artist from wikipedia altogether then hey because if you ask anyone up and down the country thats into Hardcore-Techno (not Happy Hardcore) and ask if they've heard of him a true Technoist would definetily say yes especially DJ Producer (No.1) who Scorpio goes back to back with. Most people in the Dance Scene have heard of Deathchant Records and Producer's own Rebel Scum Records. You don't see Scorpio in Torquay because he gets too much harrassment from fans so he'll go out to one of the small towns on the outskirts of Torquay just to do shopping!!. It's funny how it recognised DJ Hype I suppose it's because he's from London and not somewhere else??StatoatTBC (talk) 11:53, 13 February 2014 (UTC) |

Howicus, I recognize you from the live chat. Now! I am also an aspiring editor, and I hope that I will be seen as being fair and adhering to Wikipedia's ethical policies. Just wielding your powers for yeilding sake is an abuse of power and it is against Wikipedia's policies. If you Bothered to take the time to read the correspondence between myself and Wgolf you would realise that Wgolf KINDLY asked me to categorise my Article- Something that such an EXPERT like you did not pick up on. Thanking him and asking him to remove the box was purely based on the Box regarding the categorization. I Was at no point referring to the hideous box at the top. But people like you and Santaku and Huon on the live desk are DRUNK with power! I am systematically and speedily working on my referencing so that I can move to other articles. But when people like yourselves try and make it harder for people tp progress to the next stage then it becomes PERSONAL. If you do not like the way I work or other people work Wikipedia has a method of Arbitration. Oh by the way, I hope I'm not talking to a BOT D <small><span class="autosigned">— Preceding unsigned comment added by Cowhen1966 (talk • contribs) 09:40, 14 February 2014 (UTC)</span></small><!-- Template:Unsigned --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot--> |

In response to: Proposed deletion of Greg Cravens (cartoonist)
Greetings! I made a mistake in the spelling - it was a total accident, and not on purpose. This is a second attempt, I've gotten info direct from Greg, and will post links to some other work, and perhaps a bio page on his Hurbis! comics webcomic page. Please work with me, so the page can be made better. I'm just a single human, trying to make Wiki a bit better by the pages I work on and/or make. Help me, help you, help others, to help Wiki a better place. (P.S. I'm ADHD, so some of the things I do ... I kind of forget to check and recheck ... so take it easy on me please.)

CSD unspecified on Wicked Loving Lies
Hi, I wanted to let you know that I have removed your WP:CSD, in which you did not list a specific reason for why it should be deleted, on Wicked Loving Lies. I do not see any criteria that appears to be applicable. If there is a specific Criteria for Speedy Deletion that you think applies, feel free to re-tag the article, but I think you may have more success with an alternative Deletion Processs. Welcome messages
Thanks for doing New Page Patrol. Where you put a speedy tag on an article, and the author is new and has no Welcome message on their talk page, it is a good idea to add one before the speedy notice - it makes it friendlier and less WP:BITEy, and gives them useful links so that they may learn and do better next time. firstarticle is a good one in those circumstances: it should be subst-ed, so you would type . There is an oddity about that one: it automatically adds your signature, so for once you shouldn't add ~~~~. There is good advice for speedy taggers at WP:10CSD and WP:A7M. Disambiguation link notification for January 16
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Wonder of Women, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page German (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Well almost every film from the early Oscars have a page now
Added Wonder of Women a few days ago. Which means every film from the first 3 Oscars have a page. Now there is a page for a film named The Right to Love but its a different one then the one that was nominated, even if the same year.-which I just put as a template on some pages as The Right to Love. (On such stuff like the cinematographer page) Overall this is looking nice-since unless if I'm mistaken, I believe that is the only film now that has no page from the first 10 Oscars that is not a short film or nominated in the short live Dance cat. Great work. Yes, it's tough to find sources, but the main Oscar page is a good place to start. For example, this is the page for the 3rd Academy Awards to use as a WP:RS. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 19:00, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

Something strange happening when using WP:PAGCUR?
Hi, Wgolf. I received notifications regarding changes made by you to Oleynik, Melnychuk, Sydorenko and Kuzmenko with no edit to the pages and no edit summary. They're all dated for 2 February, 2014, yet none show up it your contributions.
I'm wondering whether 'Page Curation' is triggering off some false readings when you browse through pages (i.e., interpreting a check as an 'nx' without leaving any form of edit summary).
Do you have any way of tracking whether it's done the same to other normal checks using it on pages not on my watchlist? I was considering installing it for my own usage, but don't want to deploy a buggy tool. Cheers, in advance, for any info you could supply! --Iryna Harpy (talk) 03:22, 2 February 2014 (UTC) That is odd-I don't think I have even gone to those pages.
Wgolf (talk) 03:23, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
- Hmm. Something weird going on. Would you like me to forward my email notifications to you for your reference? --Iryna Harpy (talk) 03:26, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
It's okay, but it looks like it might be a bug. Wgolf (talk) 03:27, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
- I suspect so. You should probably report it. I'll send on the email notifications (should you need to reference them for reporting purposes). --Iryna Harpy (talk) 03:30, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
- Actually, rather than starting off a labour-intensive troubleshooting session for what may have just been a momentary glitch, I've kept the emails and a screen-capture of my watchlist. If you get any more reports about PAGCUR doing the same thing to other articles, just leave me a quick note on my talk page and I'll be able to access them for you. Happy editing! --Iryna Harpy (talk) 04:11, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
- Just to let you know that another list of these has appeared on a sequence of Ukrainian surname disambiguation pages (Shvets, Polishchuk (surname), etc.). Is Page Curation supposed to leave an automatic edit summary? Something is definitely going wrong. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 23:18, 2 February 2014 (UTC)

I did mark a bunch of surname pages as patrolled earlier
Wgolf (talk) 23:19, 2 February 2014 (UTC)

Introducing Twinkle
Hi there. I noticed that you help out in tagging new pages for maintenance or for deletion. I wanted to introduce you to Twinkle. Twinkle is a set of javascript functions that give autoconfirmed users many new options to assist them in anti-vandalism, tagging pages for maintenance or deletion, provides rollback links, welcome users, warn users, and much much more.
Many Wikipedians use Twinkle. So why not join the crowd? It's free and easy to use. Before using, you may want to read the Twinkle Documentation to familiarize yourself with the features. You may find that your editing experience on Wikipedia is much easier with this tool. Thanks, and I hope I helped! K6ka (talk | contribs) 16:49, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
