WLTK

Could you please explain to me how I am confusing other station histories for that one. Also tell me where i've gone wrong about the fact the the airdate field is for the first callsign started at 103.3 FM not the format flip.-71.63.44.108 (talk) 23:43, 14 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, WJDV started at 105.1 FM on September 16, 2002.-71.63.44.108 (talk) 00:36, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, did the Christian music format launch in 1995?-71.63.44.108 (talk) 12:59, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This is all very complicated. Could you just answer this ONE question?: The airdate field is when the radio dial began streaming its signal (you can see that on the FCC Website), not necessairly the radio station itself, but is that correct? Now look, I'm not confusing other radio stations.-71.63.44.108 (talk) 21:36, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
What's that?-71.63.44.108 (talk) 21:41, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Help requested

{{helpme}} I just got an email from the Volapük Wikipedia (vo.wikipedia.org). The problem is, the entire email is in Volapük (some weird kinda German but not lauguage, I didn't know exsisted). It also seems I have an account at the Volapük Wikipedia (never signed up for one). Is there anyway someone can translate this for me and figure out how I have an account on a Wiki I didn't know exsisted until just now? - NeutralHomerTalk • March 16, 2009 @ 06:49

Hi. Can't really help. This system is for providing help on English wikipedia.

All I could suggest is, maybe try google translate, or search for another auto translation. Or email them in English, maybe?

P.S. The language Volapük is in wikipedia; also there's an article on Volapük Wikipedia.

Did you visit that Wikipedia at all, even without editing? If you have the global account dealie enabled, an account is automatically created for you when you visit a foreign Wiki, even if you don't edit it. On one occasion, I received what I presume was a welcome email from one of them. I'm not sure if I edited on that particular Wiki, but I don't think I did. Hope that helps; if not, hey I tried. Take care. --Bongwarrior (talk) 07:04, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it's a made-up language, and the wiki has, in reality, about 8 articles. So it looks like this is just a spam email. --  Chzz  ►  07:09, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I expect that, as the above user wrote, it's just contacting you via your wikipedia account. If your preferences contains your email address, then technically anyone can email you via the special interface - although they won't 'know' your address unless you reply.

You can see if you have an account on that site by checking Special:MergeAccount. If there's a 'vo' entry, then you do - as I do now. So you don't need to edit or anything, just visit.

I haven't had a similar email yet, but I expect I will get one.

It seems lots of other people are getting the same email. I've made some notes in User:Chzz/vo. --  Chzz  ►  09:16, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Initially, I thought your concern does not need admins. I am no expert on this matter but I think it has already been settled, because of the tick. --Efe (talk) 11:02, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

BenH at it again

Just reverted the latest edits from BenH sock 76.7.141.220 (talk · contribs). Also issued a level 4 warning. Your thoughts?? Willking1979 (talk) 18:04, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

twinkle, twinkle, ...

Your warnings at User talk:Vanlalizer warner#March 2009 are kind of bizarre, and seem to have worried the poor hapless new editor. Regards, Looie496 (talk) 23:00, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
