Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Kenneth F. Warren: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Callanecc (talk • contribs) talkback (etc) template appreciated. 15:50, 18 July 2012 (UTC)

Your recent actions at Articles for Creation
Hi Lugia2453, thanks for helping at WikiProject Articles for creation. However, I couldn't help noticing some of your recent decisions were questionable. For example, you have accepted MYLAPS Sports Timing, an article about a company, which has no independent reliable references. You also accepted Onset Computer Corporation, when most of the sources were not about the company and it clearly did not meet Wikipedia's notability criteria for companies. I would advise you to look again at Wikipedia's general notability guideline and familiarise youself with the basic policies. If you want to ask me any questions you are welcome to do so. All the best! Sionk (talk) 01:11, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
Me again! You might want to look at Wikipedia:CLASSES#Grades, which explains how to assess the quality (stub, start, C, B, etc.) of articles. Articles should only be graded 'B' if there are no major issues and it is more or less complete. Most of the articles going through AfC seem to be 'start' class at best, with the occasional 'C'. Sionk (talk) 19:50, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
- some further comments. It is important to give the correct reasons, and the ones in the box are not always suitable. . Your decline of Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Middle Rainton a Lost Village was correct, but the problem was not lack of notability, the problem was that it was a personal essay without any published sources or indications of any. You might want to see what I said on User talk:Johncharvey
- In general, when an article is overly promotional, say so as a reason, even if you have to give a custom reason--do not just say insufficient sources--that's a very general comment which does not really give the guidance needed--we will delete a promotional article very rapidly, even if there are sources--promotionalism is worse than inadequate sourcing and much harder to deal with. Of course, they often do go together.
- When an article has been repeatedly declined, the author probably needs some help. Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/HUGO Ross is hopeless--at this stage in his career, he does not meet Notability criteria for music. that there are inadequate references are the least of it. It helps to make a sufficient comment to stop him from wasting his efforts. DGG ( talk ) 03:13, 4 September 2012 (UTC)

Hey I was wondering why a post about a Youtuber was not "of significant importance" , as you have a post about a TV show. Please enlighten me on why you have chosen to delete my article as isn't isn't important. How is an article about a TV show important? (Kwokyboi (talk) 20:54, 24 October 2012 (UTC))

ARTICLE ~ HISTORYLINKS M USEUM
Thank you for your feed-back on my recently submitted article about the Historylinks Museum at Dornoch. I was aware, when I began drafting the article, that its content should be objective and, to avoid any slant towards advertising, I closely followed the format and type of content used for the Highland Museum of Childhood (Strathpeffer) article. This latter article has been successfully published on Wikipedia and, in the interests of consistency, I would be grateful if you would indicate how my article should be amended to fit Wikipedia's guidelines.

Issue regarding acceptance of new Wiki article.
I understand correctly you are the Wiki user that has reviewed my requested new Wiki article [[1]] and declined it for reasons I knew it would be declined. I'm happy to search and contact Michael O'Connor (the man the article is being made for) for references related to the content published in the article. I would just like to know if you could site out what specific parts of the article need appropriate references and I would be happy to add them. Copyright
Hi. FYI: we never want to PROD copyright violations. Blatant infringements like this one should either be simply removed from the article immediately, or tagged for speedy deletion under section G12 if no substantive content would remain if the copied content was removed. Less-blatant violations (close paraphrasing, etc.) are a bit more tricky, but should at least be tagged for another editor if you are unsure what to do. See Text Copyright Violations 101 for a brief overview of the subject. We just don't want to PROD, because PRODed articles stay around for seven days - copyvios are illegal as opposed to mere violations of internal policy so they have to be deleted immediately. Hi,
I'm having problem with my submisson on "Comment SPAM Wiper". I fail to understand why Akismet gets approved and has totally unreliable sources cited and why my submission, which has proper citations, gets declined. What more independant and reliable sources can I list when over 2.500 sites uses "Comment SPAM Wiper"? And why Akismet is notable and Comment SPAM Wiper is not?
Hope you will enlighten me. Thank you, Alex — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alextrout (talk • contribs) 07:53, 10 September 2012 (UTC)
Issue regarding acceptance of new Wiki article: Harry Crews - Survival is Triumph Enough
Hi. I'm writing with the hope that you will offer some guidance on the following: Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Harry Crews: Survival is Triumph Enough. I based the formatting for this new article on the entries in the list of documentary films, and after further review, I do not see how my new article is lacking. In fact, some of the currently approved documentaries listed include no sourcing at all. Thank You. --Mycotn (talk) 10:21, 10 September 2012 (UTC)

Dyslexia: A Hoistic Understanding and Medical Treatment
Thank you for your rapid response. To comply, several questions remain: 1-How many more secondary sources would be satisfactory? Clearly, hundreds are possible, although many have been included which refer to hundreds more. 2-Since only primary sources establishing & clarifying the role of the cerebellum & related vestibular function in dyslexia existed for approximately two decades prior to secondary validations, are you also suggesting these primary sources be minimized? 3-Would not an encyclopedic presentation tend to make this discussion & topic more difficult for the average WIKIPEDIA reader?
Thanks for your guidance. Harold Levinson, MD (talk) 18:31, 13 September 2012 (UTC)HNL

Airglow rejection
Hi, you've just declined my article on airglow HPA. Can you please clarify your reasons. The first line of your message suggests that the subject isn't noteworthy enough to be included in wikipedia, but your comment at the end suggest that the references aren't good enough. Which is it? (or maybe it's both?). Also can you clarify your comment about the references, are you saying a) the facts mentioned in the article can't be found in the references, or b) the source referenced don't seem to be from prestigious enough sources and therefore can't be relied upon? I do have other sources for the article, these are the minutes of presentations given by the Royal Aeronautical Society about Airglow, however these minutes were emailed to me as text documents, so I can't add a link to them or really prove their accuracy, so basically my best references for this article are useless! Can you suggest how to proceed? If there are only a couple of facts/references you don't like, can you just tell me which ones and I'll remove them (or maybe you could remove them yourself?) Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by LimaSeven (talk • contribs) 09:08, 16 September 2012 (UTC)

Declined article
Hi Lugia2453
I recently created this page Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/testForBot which you declined. The page was not intended to be declined neither accepted. It was a test page for me to try a bot and help improve the bot, specifically this one: Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Helper script.
I contacted on #wikipedia-en-help what would be the better approach to deal with this, since I couldn't tested the bot on my pc, due to it use wikipedia scripts. It was told me that creating a page saying it is a test for the bot would be ok. Can you please revert this decision? I need the page to test the bot... (and the page must be specifically on the state I left it, waiting for submission.)
With the amount of articles waiting for creation, at least give me more 2 or 3 days... I'm sure it will not arrive the first 200 more recent articles to be reviewed on this period of time... Thanks Jorgecarleitao (talk) 23:10, 7 October 2012 (UTC)

Your request for rollback
Hi Lugia2453. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Yunshui 雲水 09:32, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of How long is a sea snake
Hey, Lugia! Nothing wrong here, I was just wondering: I see that you tagged this through HeartGold Huggle, judging by the edit summary. It had already been tagged through the Page Curation tool, eleven minutes earlier; did you see any indication of this in Huggle? Page Curation uses a different set of templates (redirects to the normal ones, actually), and I'm wondering if Huggle doesn't pick them up because of that. It's been a while since I've used Huggle, so I don't really remember what it does in terms of that. Writ Keeper ⚇♔ 19:35, 10 October 2012 (UTC)

I am NOT the individual in question, but am drafting this as part of a larger article base in order to document the existence of this individual, her accomplishments and the existence of this type of do-it-yourself-entrepreneur. Incidentally, the model for The Bra Doctor Article was taken directly from the Martha Stewart Article, which has a similar voice, premise and subtext. I wanted to return to add references about The Bra Doctor later this evening; however, your actions have now made that impossible. A brief skim of your own talk messages shows that I am not the only new user to have this same experience with your quick finger trigger. Please return the article, The Bra Doctor, to my userspace so that I can edit it in my sandbox. Thank you TeriLeDantec (talk) 19:11, 16 October 2012 (UTC) N.B. You also did not have to add a UserPage or TalkPage to my account since one already existed; I worked this article first in my own sandbox.
- Contact an admin. I'm not an admin, so I can't undelete articles. When you write an article, you don't want to make it sound promotional like "The Bra Doctor" was. Even though it was an article about an individual, it sounded more promotional than encyclopedic, which was why it was deleted. You'll want to read Wikipedia:Your first article if you haven't already done so. Lugia2453 (talk) 19:25, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
Luigi, your assertion that 'it sounded more promotional than encyclopedic' is an OPINION and not a fact. The assertions that were advanced in the Article were FACTS and not opinions. Voilà la difference! I did read the Guidelines, How-Tos, etc. When you review an article, you'll want to keep an open mind and actually READ the entire article before you pull the delete trigger. Otherwise, you might want to let someone who might be a better fit for the task at hand perform this responsibility objectively. Remember, each Article represents time that someone has invested in Wikipedia in an attempt to educate other people about a particular subject; that represents their precious TIME spent away from their family, friends and other equally pressing activities; it's not nice to throw that away without a basic exchange of civility. - Comment: Lugia2453 was acting 100% appropriately in tagging the article for deletion. Had any attempt been made to purge the promotional material and retain only the encyclopedic material, little to nothing would have remained. Being the truth (and even having refs) does not overcome the fundamental flaw that the article was written in a highly promotional tone that would require a fundamental rewrite to overcome. --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 22:16, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
Barek, Thanks for joining the discussion. As I mentioned to Luigi, 'it's not nice to throw that [a person's time/efforts] away without a basic exchange of civility.' I asked Luigi to read before he/she hits the delete button, and then, to grant a New User a Deletion Discussion...neither of which are unreasonable requests in a global, grass-roots, 'free-information' forum; nor did they necessitate intervention from anyone other than the intended reader. What's more: this is not a new concern that I raise, or is it one that has not been raised by another more seasoned member of the WIKITeam prior to my commentary; to wit SionK's comments entitled Your recent actions at Articles for Creation. Again, I respectfully requested that my article be restored to my personal Sandbox where it could be supported by media article references which cite the very same facts forwarded in my Article. But, THANK YOU for your objective, unbiased feedback; which, of course, you had the delicate sensibilities to frame in the most considerate and supportive of manners. I can only hope that the other members of the WIKITeam are able to interact with a bit more tact. After all, most humane individuals would agree that there is no need to kick an effort when it is already dead and moot. Re: August: Osage County (film)
I removed the summary from the page on the film because A. The film is not out yet and B. It is unnecessary to spoil the plot on the film's page, as the plot is already completely laid out on the page for the original play. It seems superfluous to have the summary on the film's page, especially when the plot could be tweaked for the film version. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.97.240.47 (talk) 00:19, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
