hello, and i would just like to let it be known that vandalism is described as " deliberately harming or destroying an article with such bad intents". i must say that this is simply not true about my changes to andy fish. all of it was 100% true, and was meant to show the character about the artist. i enrolled in one of his classes and he told us the stories about his cat and about how he likes the way people from different parts of the country talk. if you feel differently, please let me know. -mattyboy786

Just wondering if you might be able to help us long suffering LGBT editors out with an IP hopping editor who seems to like using the article [[shemale]] as a soapbox for their unreferenced pro-prostitution POV edits. Even though their edits are consistently reverted, we can't get them to discuss anything on the talk page. They just come back a while later on a different IP and do the same again. == Why is my block removal being declined? ==

Hi there, I noted that you left a comment on my talk page and I thought you might be able to help seeing that you're an administrator. I'm rather foreign to editing on Wiki, I've only done it once for a tiny error on a P&P page earlier this year as you've noted and a few days ago when I tried editing another tiny error on a Nick and Norah's page I was told I was blocked because of a possible shared IP address with another vandal. After following the instructions on getting my block removed I'm now being told that I'm a sockpuppet and being blocked for an indefinite period of time. May I know how I can clarify with whoever blocked me and get my user account unblocked because this is rather unfair? And by the way you said that it is too much of a coincidence that I tried to edit something when my IP add got blocked - well unfortunately it is a coincidence and now I'm really regretting that I even tried to edit a tiny error in the first place for the Nick and Norah's place and get myself into this mess. I'd like to note that I can't even be a vandal even if I wanted to because I just figured out to use the basics of this talk page in the past hour.

I'm not sure if I can leave comments like that on talk pages - if it's wrong perhaps you can just delete this and reply me on my talk page and perhaps I can give you my email and you can better explain this whole thing to me. I'm really very confused and upset about it and I think I should just stick to reading articles in the future and not attempt to change any tiny error which is now not worth all this that I'm going through.

Protection is to prevent vandalism, not to lock in a new version of the article. No one even warned the IP or anything, yet you fix it to where no new users or IP's can edit the article? Shouldn't you at least try informing the IP of [[WP:3RR]] before you protected the article to see if they would stop? Protection is not appropriate for this article at the present time, there is no long history of vandalism, or anything that would warrant semi protection. A little favour please. If this Dutch stol enthusiast will not stop (and probably will not) se [[Stollen]] history and its talk page, I would need a mediator. I do not want to get insulted any more. I tried to explain to her/him why it is not a good idea what she/he is doing, but she just went on insulting me. I would appreciate a third opinion from someone like you.

He/she is a brand new Dutch user, but indeed quite unpolite. Calls the article for one big advertisement. I am suprised because Dutch users are usually well-behaved and nice.

And a giant Christmas cake with traditions since the 15th century is clearly notable.

He will not let this go. He added this Dutch stol picture into the article again, for the 3rd time, now removing an other one. He changed an existing picture, a good and illustrative picture, the only one where you can clearly see the ingredients in the cake the section is talking about, and changed it to his favourite Dutch small cake which was in the gallery before. The one he keeps removing it from the gallery, all the time and insist adding it to the article.

I asked him nicely on the discussion page to add information about the Dutch stol in a separate section to this article and use the Dutch picture there. He will not do that, he removed a good, illustrative picture and replaced it with this small Dutch stoll. Until there is no information about the Duch stol in the article the picture from the gallery should not replace other better pictures.

I am tired about this guy. Now he is using threads, in the edit summary and he is threadening me to report me.

I think he has some problems in his life and is taking it out on me.

Wikimedia Ireland

Hi,

A while back you added your name at Wikimedia Ireland. Well, it took a year (almost to the day) but ten editors have expressed an interest in starting a Wikimedia chapter in Ireland, which meets the criteria for a "critical mass". If you're still interested, I'd would be great if we could kick off discussion. Maybe, a first step might be to introduce ourselves (anonymously) at the chapter talk page with some ideas about what a chapter could do or a sketch of your interest in founding one ... or even just say restate an interest and say 'hello' :-)
