== VoicePrint and TACtv ==

I work in the marketing department at Accessible Media Inc., the owner and operators of VoicePrint and The Accessible Channel.

We launched our new site at www.ami.ca and combined the brands of The Accessible Channel and VoicePrint under the one banner of AMI. We'll update the new logo soon. Can you explain why you are reverting the edits of the websites and logos back to ones that no longer exist?

Try and go to voiceprintcanada.com - it no longer exists and redirects to ami.ca. Have you seen the VoicePrint logo anywhere else on the Internet either than on Wikipedia? Please let us know, we'd be happy to correct it there as well.

Try and go to theaccessiblechannel.com - it no longer exists and redirects to ami.ca. Have you seen the TACtv logo anywhere else on the Internet either than on Wikipedia? Please let us know, we'd be happy to correct it there as well. In addition, I removed the reference page to the TACtv FAQ's because that page no longer exists. Why did you revert that edit? If you go to it, it says page not found.

We launched our new site on May 23rd, 2011. We would like to provide the correct references to that site for the Wikipedia community.

We look forward to working with you to ensure that the correct information is available publically.

RE: ATN ARY Digital & Abu Dhabi TV logos

Hi,

I noticed you keep reverting the logos for these two articles, how do you know that they still use the old logo- do you subscribe to them?! These channels even though they are Canadian, are re-broadcasters which means they just pick up the feed from the foreign broadcaster and stick in some local shows for CDN content and then re-broadcast it in Canada. Both of these broadcasters do not update their websites very often but I am quite certain if you saw the channel, the on screen logo would be the new one. However, I am not going to get into a editing war over this so I will let it stand until I can find proof for you that they use the new logo. The GateKeeper07 (talk) 18:59, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Télé-Québec

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Télé-Québec. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. P.S. -- The addition of "provincewide" is not only to disambiguate the province of Quebec from Quebec City, but also to put the article in line with other provibcewide and statewide educational and public networks (such as Kentucky Educational Television and Arkansas Educational Television Network). -- azumanga (talk) 02:13, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

December 2009

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page TMF Australia has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. FASTILYsock(TALK) 04:16, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RE: ECG Channels

Please do not re-insert the useless links in these articles to the Ethnic Channels website. That site is old and has not been updated in several years. More importantly there is no information on the site for the channels they operate so there is no need to insert a link to it. Also in case you didn't notice, Ethnic Channels themselves provide links to the broadcasters' official site for each of their channels so it's like they are telling you 'our site has nothing, if you want info about this channel go there'!The GateKeeper07 (talk) 04:51, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

January 2011

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed a file deletion tag from File:Family Channel 2011.png. When removing deletion tags, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. 117Avenue (talk) 00:44, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Logos on CKXT

We cannot use non-free images for any reason, they can only be used in few circumstances, such as when they enhance the understanding of the article, and not just as decoration. We aim to have as little non-free content in Wikipedia articles as possible. The pre-launch Toronto One and the 2nd Sun TV logos are not considered non-free because they are basic designs. Re: Changes

Firstly, ESPN does not have any operational role in those channels. It is irrelevant to the template. Simply the fact that they own a minority stake in the subsidiary that owns them doesn't mean that they are relevant to that navbox. From WP:NAVBOX, "The goal is not to cram as many related articles as possible into one space. Ask yourself, does this help the reader in reading up on related topics? Take any two articles in the template. Would a reader really want to go from A to B?" The navigation box is about a sports company.

Secondly, it had been stated that HD Theatre replaced Discovery HD, but was also under a different license. Plus, your edit restored a spelling mistake that had been removed as part of the revisions. Please, think before you edit (and maybe get an account while you're at it. people seem to be a bit more weary of IP editors) ViperSnake151  Talk  16:10, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

June 2011

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Discovery World HD. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

In particular, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. ViperSnake151  Talk  22:42, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
